So Much Dying Today

crossover_chickYes, apparently I completely fail at keeping Alice alive lately. Both the end of Labyrinthine Revenge and Royal Rage gave me so much trouble. . . I even managed to get myself killed in MACHINATIONS. That's the only level with no enemies and almost no way to die! I console myself with the knowledge I will never have to deal with a Snark of any form again for the rest of this game. Mostly because:
Alice Progress: Up to Battle Royale, "American McGee's Alice"
I'm almost done! Just four more levels to go! Well, five, sort of, what with the final boss being split into two parts. . . But still! *proud of self*
Oh, and I also discovered a hilarious graphical glitch. Apparently, when you got through the doors where you have to jump on a gear and ride it around a wall (to face a Spade Guard and Boojum that killed me like ten times), there's a certain spot you can stand in to make the gears just -- vanish. XD I spent way too long playing with that effect. (And then it got me killed when I mistimed a jump.)
Also got the sixth chapter of "Losing You" up on Ao3 -- hopefully I can finish getting that up by this weekend. Then I can put "Finding You" up there, and get to work adjusting "Forgetting You."
