To be fair, the timestream has reason to complain, as it seems a goodly amount of changes. First, we have the very first time travel experiment, which starts off the whole mess. Then we have Marty fleeing from the Libyans and going back to the past, which changes history and creates the Lone Pine timeline. Then we have Doc bringing Marty and Jennifer to the future, which allows Old Biff to steal the DeLorean and go back to the past, which causes the 1985-A timeline that horrifies Doc and Marty alike. And of course, off-screen we have the Shonash and Eastwood variations of the Lone Pine timeline -- we may only see the final results of all that on the 27th, but still! A really good day for altering the timeline, is what I'm saying.

Anyway, today is also Dee's self-chosen birthday! Her party thread is up here. Very proud of myself for getting all my self-cesting done in the morning -- then again, tumblr going down for a good few hours probably helped with that. In related LJ news, my paid account for 8butterflyboy8 just ran out. Saddened by a good half of my icons going inactive, but I promised myself not to give them any more money. They don't deserve it.

In Alicey news, I've finished writing up the new London sections for "Forgetting You" that separate Chapters 2 and 3 in the game, and I'm up to a new chapter in "Madness Returns"

Alice Progress: Just started Chapter 4 - Bow Street Lock-Up, "Alice: Madness Returns" (Current Dress: Royal Suit, Using: Knightmare)

I've switched to the Royal Suit for Cardbridge as it's the dress that limits your health to four roses when you wear it by choice (as opposed to doing Story Mode). Since Cardbridge has no enemies. . . The Knightmare just fits with the general theme of the upcoming Queensland, I believe. Also, very much want something that'll heal me with each successful hit after what I just went through at the end of Chapter 3!
-TTV: What happened?-
Basically, I did something really stupid in the Colossal Ruin fight -- instead of staying safely on a ledge when it went into flamethrower mode, I went to ground, thinking I would get roasted up there and I could outrun it down there.
Nope. I just BARELY managed to stay alive via Hysteria mode and killed it. The end result, though, is that I went into the final wasp fight (where you fight a Archers, Samurai, and a Daimyo pretty much ALL AT ONCE) with greatly reduced health. I died THREE times before I managed to take out enough of the archers to stay alive and fight the Daimyo properly. Eugh. . . Ah well, we're past it. Now we get to fight the zombie card guards! Fun.

However, before I go, I should mention something really cool I found at the school library -- two alternate versions of Alice In Wonderland. Specifically, a facsimile of the original manuscript and Carroll's "0 to 5" version, The Nursery Alice! It is quite awesome, no?

I wouldn't know what your personal theories are on that matter, but doesn't the LP/Shonash timeline end on November 16th, 1955, and thus never gets a chance to reach October 26th 1985 in the first place?

Yeees, technically. . .but you could argue that, while it was in effect, it reached October 26th 1985. Basically, as long as it was the current timeline, it went all the way into the future as that timeline, and the effect was only canceled when Marty time traveled again.
