Feeling Better Now

crossover_chickOkay, now that I've caught myself up on tumblr and am feeling a bit less stressed, time for non-BTTF news! First:
NaNo Progress: 16,550/50,000
Victoria giving exposition = good word count! XD I get the feeling this Bluebeard chapter is going to wrap up relatively quickly too, though. Maybe that one huge Cinderella chunk has discouraged me from meandering in my fairytales. Can't say I'm too fussed, though I'm not sure what I'll do if I end the story under 50,000. Also, there's an excerpt from the new section up on The Tale's page.
I actually had more time than I thought to work on my NaNo -- my school week of no classes continues. Turns out my Child Lit teacher canceled her class. After getting so annoyed about how we were missing classes left and right. . . I also discovered from my classmates that apparently this woman doesn't own a computer. WTF??? *shakehead* Whatever. . . And then geology lab started turning into my own personal hell, because it involved math and looking stuff up on websites. And my partner was largely useless. *groan* I just BARELY made my usual bus home.
Also, saw Dark Shadows this evening. Review? Dull, not funny, and somehow managed to have both too much plot and not enough. I think they spread themselves too thin with too many characters. Julia Hoffman had absolutely no reason to even be there. And the love interest, Maggie/Victoria, barely did anything! Which is a shame, because the flashbacks hinted at a much better story. Could we just have had the story about the girl who sees ghosts and is committed to an asylum for it?
On the plus side, though, all my RP journals are moved over to Dreamwidth. And I even got the names I originally wanted for some of them! Here's the list, along with corresponding LJ name:
