Everything: *HAPPENS*

crossover_chickAh yes, November 12th, that day so important to the trilogy! So much happens today -- but as a personal challenge, let's see if I can sum it up in five sentences:
Original Marty writes a letter to warn Doc about his impending death in the future and takes his mother to the dance. His original plan to get Lorraine angry with him so George can rescue her fails -- due to his mother realizing that kissing him feels like kissing her brother, and Biff coming and taking Marty's place in the car -- but as it turns out, George punching Biff and later standing up to Dixon works a lot better for getting them together. After a rocking guitar number that confuses everyone and some funny with his future parents, Marty returns to Doc, where, after various mishaps (including Doc finding the letter, a tree blowing down a branch that disconnects the wire, the DeLorean refusing to start properly, and Doc nearly falling off the clock tower), Marty is narrowly but successfully sent back to the future.
Meanwhile, Part II Marty and Part II Doc return to this date to retrieve the Sports Almanac from Biff -- a task easier said than done, as Marty comes within inches of grabbing it multiple times, and after he finally does manage to snatch it up, he loses it thanks to being unable to let go of being called chicken. Eventually, after some fancy hoverboarding on Marty's part and Doc coming in just in time with the string of flags, the Almanac is retrieved and burned, the normal timeline is restored -- and Doc is hit by lightning and sent back to 1885, requiring Marty to get help from the Doc Brown of 1955 in order to get back home.
To be fair, I didn't say how long the sentences had to be. XD Cripes, though, I seriously though I'd have to go for six at the end there. Hooray for commas and dashes! And parentheses.
Anyway, I naturally watched BTTF today -- ah, it felt good to see it again. :) I also finally got a chance to see the new My Little Pony episodes! Oh Twilight, will you freaking out over tests ever not be funny? And Luna! They finally remembered to let Luna show up "on camera" a little more often! The episode itself was fun, though I kind of hope someone makes a photocomic or something along these lines:
Celestia: Twilight, I have called you here to tell you something very important.
Twilight: What is it, Princess Celestia?
Celestia: *showing off the Crystal Empire* We've discovered a new toyline.
Because seriously. Has to be done. XD I also got another 1985 words done on my NaNo in honor of the day:
NaNo Progress: 24,910/50,000
And it just hit me that I'm 90 words away from halfway! Awesome. :D
I've also got various things cooking on tumblr, so later all! Have a wonderful BTTF Day! :D
