crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)

I'm not sure if I'm going to watch any more, as the creator's tendency to constantly get sidetracked and forget things is driving me nuts, but I remembered that I wanted to tell you about the dodo thing she pointed out. So let's do that quickly: There's a sign in the Whitechapel market that has the image of a dodo on it, called the Evertsz Company, established 1662. This is a reference to the last known sighting of a dodo by a shipwrecked sailor named Volker Evertsz (apparently Dutch). Interesting, no?

In other news, FINALLY got around to playing Sims and growing up the Ink_Sec's version of Alice's twin brothers. Both of them are on the sloppy side, but one's really outgoing, active, playful, but kind of grouchy (Arthur), and one's pretty outgoing and active, pretty serious, and kind of nice (Edward). At least they'll be easier to tell apart now. Edward's also already potty-trained, wooo. Now I just have to survive their toddler years. . .

Also been doing lots of editing on various chapters in my Forgotten Vows Verse. Have just realized that I may in fact be REDESIGNING one of the enemies -- no, wait, maybe two! The Lost Souls/Drowned Sailors and the Card Guards! Victor's stories to Alice are most likely going to give them at LEAST a blue tint. XD Fun times, fun times. . . Victor's love of entomology should show up in the Mysterious East, too. Maybe Alice could frighten off some enemies like that. XD Nah, it's more likely she'll just reflect on how much Victor would love the Origami Ants.
