Sims and Pixar and Forgotten Vows

crossover_chickFirst: The Liddell update is up! And I discover one of my twins is a bit of a clone of Henry, at least personality-wise. Encouragement will be needed.
Second, I finally saw Brave! And it was good! :D I had a bit of trouble with the accents at first, but fortunately I caught up just as the main action started. Merida and her family were great -- I loved all the funny moments with her mother and father. And her siblings, though I'm surprised they never got anyone to voice them. Maybe they figured their actions/body language would carry them through -- which it did. XD The main conflict was understandable and heartwarming, and the action sequences really good. And the animation was excellent -- apparently Pixar REWROTE their software to accommodate it. There was this one shot of a tree that was just -- so real, you could mistake it for a photograph of a tree. Amazing. :D Lovely movie, and I'd recommend seeing it. (Now I just have to see Rise of the Guardians so I'll have seen every movie in the Big Four crossover (people like making Hiccup, Rapunzel, Merida and Jack Frost a friendly team).)
Third, got a HUGE chunk of Chapter 6 of "Forgetting You" rewritten and reworked. Rewatching the Billingsgate chunk, courtesy of Helloween4545, really seemed to bring the inspiration! :D I will have to remember that.
Fourth, RP shenanigans -- Forgotten Vows just got a magic anon allowing him to FLY on his tumblr. He is naturally a happy camper. Couple that with being able to annoy the Bumby he knows on there, and I think I may be forgiven for that AU meme I mentioned before. And Butterfly Boy is poised to have an epic first flight on Ferdinand in the bowels of Aperture, so. . . I is happy. :D Even if I do have to go to school tomorrow. Ah well, it was a nice break, and I got most of what I wanted to get done done. Just need to finish my taxes. . . Almost done with that, though. Let's say by next weekend.
