Why is Summer Not Summer?

crossover_chickSeriously, we had one tiny streak of hot weather, and then it cooled down to early spring temperatures. And rain. Gargh. I want sunshine and warmth, damn it. I want good ice-cream-getting weather. Victor's birthday is coming up and I want to celebrate properly. Hmph.
Kind of a quiet day overall -- I messed around on The Official Alice Liddell Channel on YouTube, listening to bits of the A:MR soundtrack (both official and unreleased), did some RP, and did some fanfic writing. Got inspired to do a set on the Forgotten Vows Verse kids and their Wonderland weaponry thanks to a friend: here's the first installment, starring Chester. I've got one written up for daughter Emma too, but I'm gonna need a little more time to figure out Vincent and Matilda, the youngest two. Vincent in particular. . .what sort of weapon would he wield. . . I did do some editing on Chapter 7 of "Forgetting You" too, of course. Trying to get that over and done with so I can move on to the endless editing of the new chapters. :P
And in more productive news, I found a template of a "functional resume" for new graduates like myself, so I made up a sample one to get all my information and suchlike in one place. Still need to do one of the sections (Key Skills), but I'll figure that out tomorrow.
Anyway, I have tumblr tags to get to, and any Dreamwidth ones that may pop up. . . I've got both Forgotten Vows and Butterfly Boy in this meme all about anon messages, by the by. :P
