Big Day Tomorrow

crossover_chickWell, RP-wise at any rate -- Butterfly Boy is getting married on tumblr! He and Delusional Beauty are officially tying the knot! :DDD It's going to be a welcome happy thread in a sea of dramatic/depressing ones. I even made up a wedding invitation: see it here :D Oh, this is going to be great -- I can't wait to see what Britt's done with Alice's side of the prep. :)
Other than that, very quiet and gloomy day. Though I've gottenforgotten_vows out and about in ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
mallowhallow a bit more, which is good. Meant to get someone out into the Nexus today, but the character I had planned balked, so that'll have to wait a bit. I'm hoping to institute this new schedule I had in mind for August -- we'll see how well that works out. I do want to give my other characters some time in the sun again, though.
On the job front, may have a position that's available and that I could do. I'll look at it again and shore up my resume for it. Belmont's also potentially hiring -- third shift, but I gotta consider the fact that I'm out of options here. No harm in filling out an application anyway. I'm lucky I'm very expense-light, but I do have rent to pay, and things I'd like to buy. . .
To end on a somewhat more positive note, Alice Kickstarter is still alive and kicking, and American McGee is having backers vote on which four minds they'd like us to do for starters. I put in votes for Jules Verne, H.P. Lovecraft, Hilda Hewlett (seriously, the picture they made for her as an example is so fucking awesome), and P.T. Barnum. They also did an awesome picture for Oscar Wilde, so I included him as a runner-up. I really hope the thing gets funded -- I'm getting quite excited about seeing these animations.
All right, off to squee about wedding stuff in my head again.
