Getting Back To Cardbridge, Yeaaaaah
Sep. 20th, 2013 10:52 pmAKA I get to write about my absolute favorite domain in all of "Alice: Madness Returns." :D Seriously, I love Cardbridge. It's beautiful to look at, fun to navigate, has a couple of interesting memories to find, and NO ENEMIES. If it didn't have that door puzzle (or, at least, if the door puzzle was better explained by the game and the "clockwork bomb" hint wasn't on the WRONG SIDE), it would be the perfect breather level. As it is, it's pretty damn close. I intend to have Alice enjoy every last bit of her time there, since the chapter in which she's in Cardbridge is pretty much the last truly happy chapter she gets. Once she gets to Queensland, apart from the moment where she finally realizes she's in love with Victor, it's pretty much a downhill race into creepy and horrible. yaaaaay
I also updated all of Victor's outfits so I can update the "American McGee's Victor" part of my webpage, adding alchemical and astronomical symbols to his suits like Alice has on her dresses. That was harder that it looked, trying to find appropriate symbols for all of his outfits. After nearly driving myself crazy with his own Wonderland outfits, I decided to drive myself only half-crazy with the Alice matches and took one symbol from each of her dresses to be on Victor's suits. I think it's all worked out quite nicely -- though I still need a special ability for his Paperman suit. Hmmm. . .
Also, double dose of Helloween today -- murdering Nazis in "Metro: Last Light" and dealing with a kingdom in peril with Kikoskia in "Adventures of Goldhawke: The Demon Spider." :D So yeah, I'd have to say, good Friday. :P
And now I probably have tags to get too -- plus I'm rather thirsty. My wrist was hurting earlier, so I decided to rest it. Don't want to cripple myself after all. Later!
