More Halloween Wars

crossover_chickTheme was twisted nursery rhymes. Some pretty nice stuff this go-round, though I thought one team's piece looked like something out of a "Far Side" cartoon. *shrug* Next week, we whittle off another team! Dunno what the theme is, but I'm looking forward to it. :D This makes Halloween for me.
Today was a bit piece-meal -- I ended up staying two hours at my housesitting gig when I only expected a hour and a half, and I kind of bounced around websites because of it. Though I did get some writing done, both on my essay and my magic system. I've added a category -- communication spells! Surprised I didn't think of those before. So at least I'm set for tomorrow's tumblr update. :P Also did some more research into Victorian hotels. They're being incredibly stingy on what rooms might have been like and things like that. I think I'm just going to have Victoria try and order tea sent up and have her maybe just wandering around to try and settle her nerves for Chapter 18/"Card Castles." I want to get these up already.
Also played A:MR today, as I do -- I'm about three-quarters of the way through the Hatter's Domain. As usual, I wish I had a better graphics card that could properly display all the awesome lighting and stuff. The scenery in this game is just FUCKING AMAZING. And I noticed again new stuff, like moving gears in the walls I didn't cotton onto before -- and there's a bust of Hatter in the Crockery! If you look up after defeating the second "wave" of Madcaps you'll spot it. It differs from the one you find in the Domain proper too -- its mouth is open. Cool! I've also decided that I'm going to try and go after blue bottles, since that unlocks the character profiles, and that's always fun. :)
All right, I need to get back to tumblr tagging -- Forgotten Vows's properly introducing Moonlight to people on his tumblr, and he's garnered a fair amount of attention. So, later!
