Or, well, that's the idea. I played my first round of DragonVale today, and you know what? I'm enjoying it. It's a cute little park sim -- I like the dragon types, I like the habitats, I like the little visitors -- it's all very adorable. And while doing stuff tends to take time -- like building habitats or growing treats -- that's fine by me. I set up a few things to happen, go away for a while, then check back to collect my cash and see what's what. It's not a bad system. :D Here's a couple of pictures of my park:

This is my park earlier this afternoon -- I was busy building an Earth habitat and hatching an Earth dragon (they come in a wide variety of "elements," including Fire, Plant, Earth, Flower, Air, Water -- all sorts). I was also moving a rock out of the way so I could put my treat farm, nursery, and breeding cave in a nice straight line.

And this is my park as of now! I have my baby Earth Dragon (isn't he adorable?), and I've added some decorations. I'm also preparing to expand the Fire habitat so it can house more dragons. My dragons so far are:
❦ Flitvine - Plant (my very first dragon, thanks to the tutorial)
☀ Lava - Fire (my second dragon)
☼ Sunny - Flower (Flitvine and Lava's adorable spawn)
◆ Dino - Earth (because he looks a bit like a Triceratops to me)

Once Dino's been leveled, I'll probably breed him and Lava to see if I can get an actual Lava-type dragon. And then it's just figuring out how to best expand the park! :)

Before you ask, while I wasted most of my day on my iPad Mini, I managed not to waste ALL of it:
-->I wrote on Chapter 24, finally getting that opening bit more or less how I want it
-->I uploaded Chapter 6 of "Boy Genius"
-->I put up Steve & Gary's birthday party

So yeah -- while a lot of things got skipped/pushed back, I didn't totally fail at productivity today. I'll have to keep working on it, but still.
