We got a light dusting this morning, then it stopped for most of the day -- but now it seems to have come back with a vengeance. Oh dear. D: Hopefully it won't be too horrible out tomorrow, but we'll see! Boston's rumored to get about 20 inches, so. . .

Another day where I didn't do as much as I should have. I'm having a little trouble getting back into the groove, and I blame it all on the iPad Mini. Those games are just too addicting. My DragonVale park is going well, at least -- Lavawing (my 1st fire dragon) and Dino (my earth dragon) spent the day breeding, and now I have a Lava dragon egg incubating. I also made a stockpile of treats, got Sunny (my flower dragon) up to Level 6, and got another fire dragon -- he came with the name Nithogg, which I decided was hilarious-awesome and kept. Currently I have a Cold habitat building, in preparation for when I get the money to buy my first cold dragon. I've also leveled my park up to Level 10, which allows me to get extra islands once I can afford them. Right now my cash reserves are low because of the habitat. But my little dragons are all making money now, so hopefully that'll help things and get me to a bigger park sooner.

Other things I did -- lots of writing on Chapter 24, catching up with all my missed goodies online, doing a quick editing pass on "Boy Genius" (mostly fixing all the dashes and any minor typos), and I'm currently answering tumblr tags. One day I'll start getting on that site earlier again. In the meantime, though, I've got stuff to do on Butterfly Boy's account. I'll see you later! . . .If we still have net.

We should friend each other on GameCenter. :P Dragonvale lets you give free gems to your buddies once a day, and the only people I had friended were total strangers who've stopped playing the game. My name on GC is Ael42.

Looks like we're all linked up! :D Yeah, I've been playing it for like a year and a half, so I've got all the currently available dragons and such. I was trying for two of each limited/holiday dragons, because the breeding rules used to be two hybrids of the same kind would result in another of the same, but now they've changed the rules and it doesn't work that way anymore. It's quite annoying.

We are indeed -- and wow. Your park must be huge. O.o And that does rather suck, doesn't it? Me, I'm still just starting out, so I'm just taking whatever I can get. It's all cash/treats in the bank to me.

They're at the tail end of the Bring 'Em Back event too, so you might get some stuff you couldn't normally. They've done it both this year and last around Christmas/New Year's, so I'm thinking it'll be a yearly thing. It's the only time, other than the holiday associated with the limited dragons, that you can get any of those, and they're all available.

Yes, I noticed -- I grabbed a few decorations that I believe are usually holiday-limited. Good time of the year to sign up then. :P We'll see what happens -- hopefully good stuff! (I'm kind of hoping to get a Pepper dragon.)

Oh, another thing you should be aware of, since I'm not sure if you are - if you use the social menu, you can visit friends' parks. Find the three habitats with a party hat over them and tap on them, and you get free money. It's a once a day thing, but for someone just starting out, it's a good source of free dragoncash.

Yeah, I think I saw that on the DragonVale wiki (I've got it favorited in Safari for research). I'll have to figure out how to go around visiting and get the free cash. :D
