Made 100 wpm today

Not as tired tonight, at least. . . And yes, I genuinely did hit 100 wpm on a five-minute timing in class today. Got five mistakes, but that is the maximum allowed for a good timing, so. . . Apparently I can type really damn fast when I want to. Let's just see if I can actually keep it up.

Not much else happening, but then again I'm not doing much else. Working on getting the Diamond and more epics in DragonVale -- no successes yet, but at least the failures sell well. Editing continues apace on Chapter 14, so I'm hoping to have that up by this weekend. Should finish that off this month. Doing some neat Otherlands-inspired stuff with Britt in one of our tumblr RPs, and got lots of interesting ideas for Victor to help save Victoria in the Nexus thread. So yeah, life is going pretty well. All it has to do is warm up a little more, and we're all golden.

At any rate, I have some tags to answer, and then bed calls. Night!

Crystal won a Gold in Lightning and then I threw Tundra into Cold.

My Aquamarine hatched today. It came with the name Shimmer and I thought I'd already had a dragon named Shimmer, but it turned out that I have a Shimmer dragon, not a dragon named Shimmer. So as to not confuse myself more at such an early hour I changed the Aquamarine's name to Beryl, which is what an aquamarine is according to Wikipedia. I put her on the top of the Gemstone Island where that big pond is so she has lots of room to swim.

What else? No Diamond yet and I threw Helen and Crystal together in an attempt to get the Blue Fire and...well, they decided to give me the Spring dragon instead. :) So around 5am tomorrow the egg will finish incubating and 5am Saturday it will be ready to hatch.

I bred a Meteor dragon yesterday and that'll be ready to hatch in a little over an hour. I'll come back and let you know its name when it's ready. Edit: Came with the name Breezy.

Awww, cute. :) And LOL, yeah, that would be confusing anyway -- though fortunately it hasn't tripped me up yet with Carnival, my Rust dragon, and Mardi, my Carnival dragon. :P Beryl is a pretty name -- and that's the other place I was considering for my Aquamarine. I think the cave with Spike works best for mine, though -- and means I get more frequent gems from that habitat.

Ooooh, nice! :D I should try for a Spring dragon after Flitvine and Phoenix finish their latest Seasonal fail. It would go well with my Winter dragon. You can also get a Silver or a Platinum from the Ice/Mine combo so I'm kind of hoping for one of those fails if I don't get a Diamond. :P

Aww, cute. :D They're really awesome-looking dragons when they're adults too.
