Rainy and Noisy

Rainy describing the weather, noisy describing the fact that it was Student Appreciation Day and thus there were very loud activities occurring in the cafeteria. Didn't make lunch particularly pleasant, even if I did somehow manage to keep up with tumblr tags.

Still, can't complain too much about the day. I'm really enjoying the third Science of Discworld -- it helps that they've talked about time travel and made a BTTF reference in a footnote, and I think an Alice In Wonderland reference of some kind is coming up (Lewis Carroll and John Tenniel are both mentioned in the back index). Pratchett is best writer, seriously. I so wish I could meet the guy and shake his hand.

I'm also doing well in DragonVale -- claimed the second Ovalith dragon this morning! Came with the name Flicker, but I ended up renaming it Scrambla. XD I just couldn't resist. I have pictures over on my tumblr here, here, and here of my latest acquistions. And guess what?

Orville and Fafnir are giving me ANOTHER Olympus dragon. XD Hopefully not the same kind, but hell, I guess that one would give me some good cashola. Making money in this game is just getting easier and easier, I swear.

Anyway, I need to give some tags some attention, so good night all! May the weather be nicer wherever you may be!

My Terradiem came with the name Fang, which is my Earth's (well, one of them, lol) name. I named him Tellurian. *shrug* People call humans that all the time (read: once that I know of...) on Doctor Who and it's the first thing that came into my head since I already have a Terra. :p He's living quite happily with Kiho and Hydro on the Plant/Water Island with a positive boost. ^^

Geoff won a Gold and I threw Dusty into Air.

So are you turning in the eggs toward the Lost Island or are you hoarding them?

In other news...10 years ago today I got Shada. :D I need to bring him a bagel or something on Saturday, lol.

LOL -- Tellurian. I like it! And of course you need more names inspired by the Whoverse. :P Yeah, mine's on the same island with Ent and Maurice.

I got a Silver with Nelson, and Whitefang's in Cold.

Hoarding them, for the moment. . . Might as well get a rough estimate of how many gems I might get for them, right? :P

Also, DOUBLE new release in DragonVale! The Solar Eclipse dragon has been released, and the Arbor dragon's the new guy! Not sure how you breed him yet, though.

Arbor = Tree + Forest but I can't find a breeding time. Maybe 10 hours because I just paired Spike with Fawn and got 10 hours and I don't see anything with 10 hours listed on either of the Breeding Sandbox sites I go to. I'll find out in 10 hours I guess...

For Solar Eclipse it's Air, Earth and Fire. I'm using Air + Obsidian but I'm getting a Sandstorm first (sure I get 'em all the time now that I don't need one...).

I just looked at the Wiki's Facebook Feed -- and it says straight out 10 hours. XD *highfive!*

My first try was with my Blazing Phoenix and Earth Geo -- but I think I got Motleyed. I'll try Air/Obsidian or Air/Lava next go.

Wow, go me, lol.

I set an alarm to wake me when they're done (and my Solar Eclipse fail actually will be done at the same time) so along with Slythe and Loki I'm going to pair Boone (Blazing) and Dusty (Sandstorm) as there's no chance of a Rainbow with that pairing. *really likes the "avoid" box on the Sandbox sites*

It'll be just my luck, though, that while I got the Lunar Eclipse on like the first try it'll take me forever to get the Solar Eclipse. I'm hoping not since Dusty is already at level 15 and Boone is 13. We'll see.

Heh, I see -- hooray convenient timing. And yeah, tell me about it. Being able to eliminate one of the longer fails is really great. :)

*nodnod* Indeed, indeed. Just keep your fingers crossed! Me, I'm gonna have to figure out where to put him. . . Need to get building that Hibernation Cave so I can store one of my Suns for a bit.
