crossover_chick | Another Note For Today

I got my hair cut! I've been planning to whack it off for a bit now -- the length was finally testing my patience, and I like to have short hair during summer if possible -- but I'd planned to do it sometime in May. But there's a new hair salon offering haircuts for $5 for a limited time, and Mom offered to treat me since she was getting a trim herself, sooo. . . I think it's the shortest cut I've ever had. Feels good, though -- you never really notice how heavy hair can get until you cut it off. It's going to make showering and brushing it out a lot faster. :D

Also of note today -- I had my first "not against the AI" win in Hearthstone! Jaina vs Jaina match that ended up with both of us not having a lot of cards. I largely just killed off all her minions before she could do anything interesting with them, then worked on whittling down her Health. Even two Ice Barrier cards (which give the hero a bunch of armor) didn't help Jaina 2 in the end. Though it was a close game! (Incidentally, I looked up the Hearthstone Wiki and read Jaina's backstory -- this woman has a terribly sad life. I kind of want to hug her.) So that was fun. :)

What was not fun: today's weather. Cold, rainy, and generally icky. >.< I disapprove strongly. Can we get some actual SPRING weather in here? At least warm rain??
