Made It Home On Time!

Not that it materially affected how my afternoon went down -- my family was watching one of my cousins for a while, so I ended up playing Monopoly Deal with him and Mom after I got home. Fun game, at least, and I did win the first one. :P And I was able to get a nice walk home -- rain was predicted for today at some point, and it was supposed to be in the 50s the whole day, but it was 62 and sunny when I actually got back. So yeah, can't complain there! Clouded up this evening, though, so I think rain genuinely is ahead for us now. Meh.

Finished another chapter in "In the Land of the Dead" -- may be adding more new material between this one and the next in my rough draft, but we are working to the point where I ended up stopping before. Then it's just a matter of taking the story where I want it to go, then getting it polished up enough to show to other human beings. I don't mean to keep everyone waiting, I really don't, I just -- I have limited time, and I want this to be GOOD.

Speaking of limited time, I should clear out what tags I have and suchlike. Really not much else to say except that I keep failing on the Sprout front. It's a good thing I'm pretty certain I have the month to breed it -- I think I'm gonna need it. For now, g'night!

When I was a kid and I played Monopoly for the first time (having only played Monopoly Jr. or somesuch) I didn't realize that $200 and $200.00 were the same thing. /coolstorybrosis Money was never my strong suit, lol.

The Heat came with the name Sear, which made sense to me so I kept it. The Root came with the name Crumbles but I changed it to Groot (heh...Groot the Root) after the character in Guardians of the Galaxy (which I'm still not sure I'm gonna see since it just looks SO GOOFY but as it's the next in line in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and there may be a tie-in to Avengers: Age of Ultron, so...).

I upgraded both the EBI and the BC and thus they will now be referred to as the EBS and EBC, lol. I'll upgrade the Gemstone Island on an as-I-need-to basis (like when/if I get the Pearl).

I bought another Large Earth Habitat to move my Sandstorm into since I'm sure I'll eventually need the extra slots. If I manage a Nectar I'll need either another Water or another Light (Large or otherwise) since mine are all full up but I'll wait until I see the magic incubation number before spending the cash. I was going to sell the Dark Habitat since I have a Large one but then I realized I'll need it for the Mirage if I get it. I can just like stick it in the middle of the Planeteer Island or something so it won't take a negative hit.

DC is 249,549,699 and gems is down to 215. I'm also maybe 3/4 of the way to level 34, give or take on either side. The Eighth Island doesn't unlock until 35 and though part of me wants it I'll wait until I get over 300mil to summon it so I'll have a buffer after the summon and clearing (250mil to summon and almost 49mil to clear). I only want it not so I can get organized but so I'll have places to put shit as I get more dragons, lol.

Nakita asked me today how long did I think it would take to get all the dragons in the game. I said, providing DV doesn't add any more, that it would take me personally at the most until next year since I missed the Moonstruck (unless they do another Bring 'Em Back) and that's providing I don't miss anything else. My BIG ORGANIZATION will come when I get all the dragons. I may sort them with their primary element (as shown in the orb) and adjust the boost placement accordingly. Not sure yet. I have time to figure that out, lol.

Oh, and I'm still keeping my spreadsheet since you're right about name duplicates. Since I keep mine in Excel, as soon as something similar pops up it tries to autofill it, so I'll know right away if I've used a name or not. :)

Edit: Jade Dragon is live. The combo is Plasma (which is Lightning + Water element) and Salamander (which is Fire + Water Element). I don't have a Plasma but luckily Sparky and Siren obliged to give me one on the first try, lol. I bought a Large Water to put it in since it's an Opposite and I stored that other Dark Habitat since I'll need it eventually. I also spent 15mil for Bean Stalks because I want these guys to 15. I know I have until August to breed the thing but, eh, may as well start now.

*snork* If it makes you feel better, there's a couple of people in my Office Skills Training class who might not realize that either. Granted, we have some English As Second Language people, but the other English speakers weren't doing so hot either. *shakehead*

Lavawing got me a Gold and a promotion to Level 35 -- the Eighth Island is available to me! Though like you I'm going to wait until I have a decent buffer to both purchase and clear the darn thing. :D Dino's taking on the Earth event.

Sear is a good name for a Heat dragon, yes. As is Groot for a Root. XD (Hopefully it won't be too bad. Me, I'm saving my money to go see HTTYD 2 when it comes out this June.)

That's pretty much how I'm going to handle the Gemstone Island. I got plenty of space at the moment there, so I may as well save my gems. I'm more likely to get a Giant Dark and/or a Giant Light habitat first.

Awesome news -- not only am I finally getting a Sprout, the fail just before it was a Nectar! :D So I'll have that by this evening. I'll throw him in the Light habitat. And with that damn Seasonal achieved I'm going to start Dark dragons once I have some free space in my nursery again. Time to fill up the list!

DC is 294,207,557 and gems are 219. And LOL, yes, that's my major inducement to get the new island too. Especially since I'll be needing that Large Seasonal habitat soon. . .

I plan to try and do a little prettying-up of the place this weekend, though yeah, should probably wait until I've filled out at least the majority of the list to do any major renovations, so to speak. And you know Backflip -- they'll never let up when it comes to releasing more dragons. :P On the plus side, I really wouldn't be surprised if Bring Em Back was always a thing in December. They've done it twice now -- third time wouldn't be out of the question.

Yup, I saw -- and as usual, we have the persistent Discount message. I haven't got a Plasma either -- I'll try for that one as I do my Dark hybrids, probably. Then I'll start working on the Jade -- thinking I'll stick it on that part of the island that doesn't yet have any dragons in it.
