crossover_chickThis weird cold is getting on my nerves now. At least it's remaining relatively mild. I hate it when I feel out and out sucky. Right now I'm just feeling a little stuffed-up.
Bit of a slow day for me online -- tagging has been relatively quiet (though I've wrapped up a lot of Butterfly Boy's tumblr threads with Delusional Beauty Alice), and this afternoon I was off for a while thanks to Hearthstone and making my breakfast muffins. I had one loss to a Thrall running a taunt-heavy deck (I have to admit, I was impressed), and one victory grabbed from the jaws of defeat against a Garrosh. He had me reeling pretty early with some hard hitters, but near the end we both were reduced to having to play whatever card we drew, and that's when Anduin started to shine with lots of boosts for my current minions. :) Almost up to Level 10 with him!
In DragonVale news, my Garnet will be ready to hatch tomorrow, which is nice -- and good for clearing out some space in the Nursery. I've had to suspend breeding for a bit after a full four nests left two breeding pairs stranded most of the afternoon. Working mainly on Dark hybrids -- already hatched out a Fungus, which I've named Shroom. I've got one of the Cold/Dark ones in my nursery right now. Also working on the new hybrids -- thinking I'm gonna give the Orchid a try next. :) So many dragons, so little time. . . I'll have pictures tomorrow as part of my regular Weyr Wednesday update for my tumblr.
As it is right now, I'm going to make myself an ice cream sandwich, then watch some LGR, and then it's back into the fray of updates. G'night all!

Date: 2014-05-21 12:41 pm (UTC)No luck on the Jade yet. I already have everything else you can wind up with with the pairing, so all I'm doing is just peeking at the incubation time and if it's not 24hrs and 21mins I'm just like "...meh".
I'm trying to figure out what might be re-released in June other than the Pearl (Seaweed + Snow - 24hr...[Double] Rainbow warning). According to the past updates on the Wiki, there's the Bearded Dragon (Mountain + Metal - 12hr...Bronze and Silver warning) and maybe the Solstice (Blazing + Earth - 18hr 48min) and, of course, the Summer Dragon (Water + Lightning + Fire - 19hr 12min). Also, you probably already know this but the Butterfly Dragon (Firefly + Air - 9hr 36min) may get re-released soonish since its past releases were from May to June. Also, for completion sake since it may get re-released before the 4th of July, there's the Firework Dragon (Fire + Air - 4hr 48min).
Double Rainbow is in the Nursery and it can't even have the courtesy to still be incubating when I can use Kairos again so I can speed it up, lol. Ah, well...at least it sells for 3,125,000 when it's finally out of there in 54 hours. That's another reason I'm just profit breeding on the other end since it's gonna take up one slot for a while I want to avoid Full Nursery Syndrome. :p
If I do get the Jade, I want to put it on the left side of the GI with Pablo, V and Chuck but that would require spending another 25 gems for the upgrade. Though since none of the most-likely-upcoming limiteds share an incubation time with a standard, I just might. I still have to get the thing so unless my next try is a Jade, I have time (and if I jinxed that well, so be it, hahah).

In non-DV news, Disney on Ice is doing Frozen here in November (like right after we're getting back from Florida). Thanks to a friend on Facebook mentioning a code for advanced tickets, I managed to score three (me, Mom and Antoinette...Ed's not interested, haha) for the 29th, which is 9 days after we get back. November's gonna be busy, lol.

Date: 2014-05-21 11:57 pm (UTC)I haven't even started trying -- been concentrating on my Dark hybrids. Got a Ruin, a Fungus, and a Spark so far. I figure, I got three months, I can take a little time with other stuff.
Yeah, I've been expecting the Butterfly Dragon to pop up soonish -- according to the Wiki, it was last released in late May, sooo. . . I think the Bearded dragon is supposed to be the Father's Day equivalent to the Bouquet, but don't quote me on that. Solstice and Summer will be fun to get -- then I can take my other Sun dragon out of the Hibernation Cave and the old Seasonal habitat out of the Storage Tower and start some real moolah-making. :p
Good plan -- Full Nursery Syndrome is annoying as hell. Gotta try to avoid that myself. At least my Garnet and Turquoise are out of there now.
Sounds like a plan. I currently have two dragons in all of my gemstone habitats, which is a nice balance. I plan to put the Pearl up top with the Emerald and Ovalith 2 -- there's a lake up there, so it can swim. Not sure where the Jade will go, but I'll find a place.
