Apple Annoyed Me Today

crossover_chickLost a big chunk of time on DragonVale thanks to GameCenter suddenly needing me to log in again and me not remembering my password. >.< I gotta commit that thing to memory. On the plus side, when I did get on, I discovered that not only is the Butterfly up again, there's AN ENTIRELY NEW EPIC TYPE available -- the Dream! :D It's a curious one -- you get it by breeding a Dark hybrid with a Light hybrid, making sure the other two elements involved are different. It's kind of like a Rainbow dragon in that regard. I'm gonna go ahead and give it a few tries over the next few days -- at the very least, I should fill in a few of the Dark hybrids I don't have yet, and if I do get one of the Rainbows, I do actually need one for my Rainbow habitat, so. . .
Played an extra-long round of Hearthstone today to level up Thrall, the Shaman, some against the Innkeeper. Won two, lost two. It got a little awkward at the end because my parents came home from the grocery store while I was doing the last round -- aaand the game has no pause feature. Eh-heh. Once I got my ass kicked I helped out as best I could, and I did fold the laundry, so no hard feelings I'm guessing. Tomorrow he goes into real play to see if I can satisfy one of my quests.
It is entirely too chilly for my liking. It did get up to 63 today, but the nights are being annoyingly nippy. Sunday starts JUNE, weather -- start getting your act together!
As for me, I have an act to get together too -- tags and all -- so g'night for now!

Date: 2014-05-30 04:51 pm (UTC)Anyways. Prickle won a Silver and for lack of a better idea I just threw Helen into Fire. Now they'll be done at 5:30am so unless something wakes me up early tomorrow, then they'll be done whenever Antoinette gets me up (and hopefully she sleeps until 9).
The Jade is safely in the Nursery and will hatch tomorrow afternoon. The Eighth Island has less than 8 hours left.
Started trying for the Butterfly but they're making either a Blazing or a Sonic. Just for shiggles I did try for the Dream but I'm getting a Nightshade instead. That's one hybrid I don't have and I had to bring the small Dark Habitat out of storage to house it since I can't afford to get another Large Dark and clear the Eighth Island. At least...I think it's a Nightshade. Come to think of it, I can't remember if the time said 10:24 (Luminous) or 10:48 (Nightshade). I'll find out in 3 and a half hours, I guess.

Oh, we're seeing Maleficent tonight. Again, I'm only seeing it because Peter Capaldi is in it. I don't think he has a major roll since he's not mentioned on the movie's Wikipedia page but it is mentioned on his, but whatever. LOL

Platinum and Plasma hatched today -- Platinum is Slythe, and Plasma is Avon. I'm using the old Large Water habitat to house the latter.
No luck for Butterfly or Dream on my end, though my Crypt is cooking nicely. I'll probably keep throwing Light/Dark hybrids together just to see what results. As stated, I need more Dark hybrids, and if I get Dream or Rainbow, well, yay. Hope yours is a Nightshade!
