Hooray! Caught up!
Jun. 20th, 2014 10:24 pmAnd thanks, Gigs, for not adding another comment to my inbox. *huggles* But yeah, I managed to clear everything that I had owed from yesterday (and in at least one case, the day before). What helped is that, upon taking the day off from active tumblr RPing, Forgotten Vows had a full ten replies drafted, and Butterfly Boy had five -- a full queue and a half queue, respectively. So I figured that what I would do was let those both run out the day while I focused on getting everything else taken care of. (I could afford to do a half-queue with Butterfly Boy because he's the less active of my two muses on there.) So that's exactly what I did. I didn't even really look at either account until just now, when I cleared up a few owed replies on Forgotten. Very glad I made that decision -- don't feel like I'm drowning in tags anymore.
DragonVale news: Kringle won a Silver in the Colosseum, and now Seismic is taking on the Lightning Event. My Solstice is in the nursery and will hatch in roughly 18 hours -- and I'm hoping to give him another rare friend. Backflip's doing another mini Bring Em Back -- the Celestial Comeback Event! For about a week, all the Sun and Moon dragons are available -- which means I'm going to spending a fair amount of time working on getting the Blue Moon dragon and completing both my Sun and Moon sets. I've also given a little thought to the matter, and decided that I'm going to arrange my Sun and Moon habitats on the Opposites Island like this:
Sun: Sun, Solar Eclipse, Solstice
Moon: Moon, Lunar Eclipse, Equinox
Which means I'll have to move my Moonstuck, Emily -- she might be joining Helios in the Hibernation Cave for a bit. Though if I do get a Blue Moon, she'll live with that. And then I might try for another Equinox so Helios can come out and earn money for me. We'll just see how things go!
Hearthstone News: Two ass-kickings for Thrall, one awkwardly-timed as my parents came home with groceries right in the middle of it. Learning some stuff, though -- such as Warlocks can benefit greatly from lots of taunt minions. Hmmm. . . I'll wait to put that into play until I've leveled up mine some more, though.
Not too much else to report -- aside from a morning of icky-sticky rain yesterday, weather's been nice, so I've been enjoying that. I also have housesitting duty coming up soon (which is fortunately NOT the overnight kind -- very relieved to avoid that sort of schedule juggling!),w which will be good for a few bucks. Right now, I gotta finish snagging my party hat cash, then work on catching up properly on Butterfly Boy's dash. Later!

Date: 2014-06-21 01:48 pm (UTC)As I said in my journal, Frostbite won a Silver and I threw Kelvin into Lightning. He won a Gold and I put Kraken into Water.
I can't remember what name my Bearded Dragon came with (I may recognize it if I look on the Wiki list but I don't have time to do it now) but I renamed him to Vater and not just for the sort-of-Star Wars reference, lol. I also bred a Howl that came with the name Trieste.
I, myself, am trying for the ruddy Moonstruck again, lol. And the Blue Moon, though I read a rumor that it's easier to get the Solstice dragon ON the Solstice (which is today the 21st) so I'm gonna try for the Solstice again today and go back to the Blue Moon tomorrow. Though since the Solstice is part of that Sun and Moon collection I wonder if it will disappear with the rest of them on the 26th.
I'm gonna have to cut this short because I need to go to Home Depot with Ed so he can get stuff to fix the driveway (the town broke it when they were plowing last winter) and he needs Mom's credit card that I have.

Date: 2014-06-22 03:22 am (UTC)Seismic won a Gold in Lightning, and I've got Honey in Water.
LOL -- Vater and Padre. I like it. XD And oooh, that's an interesting name. I gotta breed a few more Dark hybrids myself once I'm done trying to get rares/epics.
Maybe. . .I dunno. *shrug* As for me, my Solstice hatched today -- came with the name Alpha, which I like. Zenith, my Equinox, now lives with my Moon dragons, so Emily's in the Hibernation Cave -- buuut I'm getting a Blue Moon dragon, so she'll be out soon enough. I might also be getting another Moon or Sun thanks to a different breeding pair -- if it's a Moon, I might keep it just to round out the habitat. (They need another Sun dragon to match the number of Moon dragons now too).
Blah, I see -- kind of sucks. Good luck at the Depot!

Date: 2014-06-22 03:25 am (UTC)He can't fix the driveway because apparently our street isn't to code or something (I live on a RIDICULOUSLY narrow street) and he's gotta go to the town, so instead he got stuff to fix the back steps. But anyway, I got the Solstice! And in trying for the Moonstruck I got either a Seasonal or a Rainbow (ooo I hope it's a Seasonal!!); I'll find out in 29 hours. I had Full Nursery Syndrome and I don't want to spend the gems anyway.
And I'm exhausted so I'm gonna leave it there, lol.

Date: 2014-06-22 04:08 am (UTC)Blah, too bad. :( But still, fixed back steps are also a good thing. I'll keep my fingers crossed it's a Seasonal! :) Summer's out, by the way -- it looks kind of like a dragonfly. XD
*nods* Go shower and sleep. *patpat*
