Though in a weird twist, since I was smart enough to use my queue this time, I wasn't quite as unproductive on the RP front as I was yesterday. (Though that wasn't totally my fault, as tumblr suffered fuckery. . .) Rather slacked off on the writing though. Gonna try and get just a bit of editing done on Chapter 4 of "Forgetting You" before I hit the sack.

Highlights of the day:

-->Utter failure in Hearthstone, leaving me something of a frustrated mess. Grr.

-->Got both a Blue Moon and Moon egg in my nursery -- will be keeping both since the Large Moon habitat holds three and I might as well max it out. Also, I've been putting the wrong name all this time for the hibernating Sun! HELIO is the one who's active -- SOLARIS is the one in the Cave. That's embarrassing. ^^; For Gigs's edification -- Honey won a Silver in Water, and I've got Anna in Plant. DC: 334,851,262; G: 306.

-->Got in a walk, which is the other thing I neglected yesterday (then again, I was constantly popping over to give Mom a break in her work, so. . .) Felt good, even if there was some worrying cloud cover developing as I went.

-->I need to look up a bit on touristy places in the UK as there's a roadtrip thread in the planning stages on tumblr. I also need to finally write DG-Victor's plan to make sure Barkis doesn't kill his Victoria, because DAMN I've been slacking on that. Bad Vicky.

Yeah, I would've posted yesterday but that thing called Real Life interfered lol. I spent most of the day doing laundry and catching up with my Animal Crossing game (two of the villagers I liked moved out, so I got mad and reset the whole thing, lol, and then I realized that you get a certain collectible on the Saturday before your birthday so I had to backdate my 3DS to the end of May and reset the game again in order to be able to get it on the 28th...if you don't play every day, your villagers get a little tetchy...like "Wow, [player], it's been a while since I've seen you. Can't you at least make an effort to talk to me?").

Anyways, Kraken won a Gold and I put Ysterhout into Plant. Because I slept late on Sunday (thanks, Mom, lol) the Colosseum won't be done until 10:30. Edit: He won a Silver and I threw Ma-Ti in Fire for lack of a better idea.

I did indeed get a Seasonal! As planned it will live with the Sprout when it hatches. I also got the Solstice (on the Solstice so maybe that rumor was true) and with Kairos' help he's hatched with the fitting given name of Sol.

And... O_O HOLY CRAP! MOONSTRUCK GET!! MOONSTRUCK GET!!!!! :D

Now if I can get the Blue Moon, we'll be even, LOL! I bought another Large Moon to hold everybody.

On an unrelated note, the BBC's adaptation of The Musketeers was on last night (with Peter Capaldi as Cardinal Richelieu, which is the only reason I'm watching it) and I stayed up to watch it. There was a scene that made me think of you and Victor. During a swordfight between one of the Musketeers (Porthos I believe) and another guy, Porthos is unarmed while the other guy has a sword. So Porthos picks up a fork and fights with that. :p

And one last thing. I saw this on Facebook and thought I'd share: Christopher Lloyd with Jason David Frank. Doc Brown meets Doc Oliver, lol. ^^

Ahhh, I see -- no worries, RL gets me like that plenty of times too. Ah, laundry, gotta love it. (Animal Crossing sounds like such an abusive game. . .of course, I'm mildly terrified of it thanks to one of my first experiences with it being a creepypasta of an LP. . . :( ))

I really need to let my Colosseum roll over simply because it now ends past the time I should be in bed. *shakehead* Anyway, Anna won a Gold, and I threw Capsaicin in Fire.

Congrats on all your new dragons -- especially the Moonstruck! :D :D My Blue Moon hatched today -- gave it the name of Luna after everybody's favorite princess. :D Though it came with the rather cool name of Galileo -- maybe I'll name Moon 2 that when it hatches. It's chilling with Emily right now.

As for my own dragons -- after a bit of a fight with Full Nursery syndrome, I'm FINALLY GETTING THE KITE! :D No luck yet on the Pearl, though. *heavy sigh* Come on, guys, I can't miss Gig's gemstone dragon!

Was it about the town called Aika? If so, I've been there with my character. It's so super creepy and moreso that the dialogue is in Japanese. I was using a website for translations.

You may wind up getting the Pearl on my birthday, lol. I have two pairs trying for the Blue Moon but the second pairing is only a 13 and 15 so I don't have my hopes up. Nevermind...Blue Moon get with level 13 Milton and level 15 Crystal, lol.

LOL there's a reason AL has him keep the long hair. Glad you like the pic, though.

I don't remember what the town was called -- the title of the piece was "The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing." Creepy as fuck, let me tell you. Good to know there's even more creepiness in that game than I thought! /sarcasm

I'm starting to think I will -- come on, guys, throw me a bone here. Congrats on your Blue Moon, though! Isn't it fun when pairings you don't expect much from come through for you? :)

*piqued* *Googles* Ooh, it's based around Wild World that came out for the DS in 2006. *bookmarks* I'll save that for later. But, yeah, certain things in New Leaf are...disturbing to say the least (I read most of them on TV Tropes as one does). There's a feature called the Dream Suite, which is a building that allows you to visit different towns in "dreams". You can do things in the town but you don't directly influence it. Like you could cut down trees and trample the flowers but it doesn't affect the real town. Some people have deliberately made CreepyPasta-type towns (like Aika); I visited some of them before I reset my game.

Just don't read it in the dark. It really is a creepy thing, especially near the end with some of the pictures. Meeep. And that's -- interesting. To be honest, that could be pretty cool if you just wanted to tour somebody's town, but -- yeaaah, creepypasta towns? Noooo thanks.
