Another mirror match with Anduin -- seriously, that's three in a row -- and MAN, it was tough! At first I managed an early lead with counters for pretty much every card he put out, then both of us got stuck in a topdecking stalemate. He ended up winning thanks to me pulling cards useless to me twice (both of them dealing with buffing minions when I had none). But it was one hell of a game! I actually saw the "I'm almost out of cards" emote from someone in person for the first time! I've never before made someone nearly use up their entire deck! Wild. (I also played a round with Valeera, but that was a pretty standard loss.)

In DragonVale news, the firefly drop rate is being a little friendlier than it was before -- just need six more from food and I'll be all caught up on the max for today. Still no good dragon eggs, though -- in fact, I've got a full nursery thanks to my latest Electrum, a pair of Smokes, and a Copper. Meeh. On the other hand, I'm more than capable of summoning in the Ninth Island, and may do that for this weekend (especially if it proves to be a Double Fireflies weekend). I'll probably put my Olympus and Treasure Epics on it to tidy up my other Epics island. Still deciding what to do with the Celestial habitat and Sun and Moon dragons. . . Eh, we'll see once I get to that point. I SHOULD be able to get the Dawn dragon by this Friday, though. :)

Not much else to say beyond more editing on Chapter 1 of "In The Land of the Dead" (tweaking something that I realized might not make much sense for the Land of the Dead) and setting up a very long queue on Butterfly Boy thanks to his wife's mun posting a ton of replies. XD And I'm still not done! I ended up breaking it into two parts to spread it out a little more and make sure I could do other replies! XD Ah well, it's good to have those two interacting again. :)

All right, I should get that second queue set up for tomorrow, and maybe draft out a few replies so I can just pop them up once I finally get caught up on my dashes. Later all!

At first I thought I didn't have anywhere to put the Dawn Dragon so I bought another Large Sun Habitat but then I realized I still had a space in one of the Large Moons. Well, I'll need it for the Dusk at any rate (if I don't wind up with the Celestial Habitat, ultimately Dawn's gonna go in Sun and Dusk will go in Moon because it makes sense in my head, lol).

I know it's not August yet but I leveled up Prickle in preparation for trying for the Peridot dragon next month (combo is Crystal + Cactus).

I'm about halfway to 40 and if you plan on summoning the Ninth Island to have something to clear in case the weekend is a Double you may want to do it soon (if you haven't already) because it takes 48 hours to appear.

Neon and Jimmy wound up giving me another Platinum. Kairos can help speed up the incubation tomorrow.

Chalice won a Gold. Threw Ray into Fire cuz Firefly Dragon. :p

Heh, makes sense to me too -- if I go with the the "keeping the Sun and Moon habitats on the Opposites Island" idea, that's how I'll divide up the Dawn and Dusk. I plan to put my Solstice and Equinox in hibernation until I get the Celestial habitat/have to buy a new habitat for them.

I'm still having no luck with my Ruby breeders. Tried for a Dream on the island, and I think I'm getting another Rainbow (which is not unwelcome since you get an achievement for that).

Yeah, I figured that all the weekends going forward are probably going to be Double weekends, so I went ahead and summoned the island at lunch. It will arrive Saturday, and the clearing may begin!

Bubbles won the Gold, and I took a cue from you and put Litebrite back in for Fire. XD DC: 189,923,056; G: 441; FF: 783. (Should have over 800 FF by the end of the day -- and I admit to spending 4 gems the other day to speed up an egg hatching and clear a full nursery. 4 is exactly the amount of fireflies I missed on Monday, so I'm simply back to where I should be.)

That's okay. If I don't have my intended tally by the time I'm ready for bed, I'll use gems to get me there. Usually it's no more than 4 anyway.

Fair enough -- want to guarantee those dragons after all. :) Though the drop rate has been good to me the rest of the week -- I wonder if they did tweak it a little behind the scenes or something. I'm already full on eggs and habitats -- just gotta coax 8 more out of food.
