Which means getting up early again to catch the appropriate bus. Meh. Still, any help that I get on the job search is welcome help, and I won't have too bad of a trip up and back (it's Warwick campus), so yeah. Worth it.

DragonVale is continuing to be a butt to me about the Ruby dragon and about spawning the last of its fireflies any given day. I'm steeling myself for disappointment regarding not getting the Twilight Tower and not getting the Ruby dragon. I do still have a chance, but odds are getting slimmer by the moment. :( At least I can be assured of getting the Celestial habitat. I just like the twilight background, darn it. At least I have my Prism to soften the blow. (Egg really is awesome-looking. :D)

Hearthstone, lost my final arena match -- a Jaina got me with a Pyroblast. Got some cards and gold out of it though. Tried my luck with Anub'Rehkan and my taunt Rogue deck -- still no dice. No matter what, that damn spider always has the upper hand. *grrr* I really need to look up some good strategies for getting past him.

Not much else to report on online, so in real world news, I am now the proud owner of a wireless mouse! I think I mentioned that my retractable tail one had died, forcing me to use an old long-wire mouse that my parents had on hand. This was way annoying, so when they went to Wal-Mart today I asked them to pick me up a wireless one. It's a cute little purple Logitech mouse with a really fast scroll wheel. And if you tilt said scroll wheel, you can go back or forward a page in your web browsing! Neat! I'm calling it my speedy mouse since I can zip it all over my desk. :P Ahhh, sweet sweet freedom from wires. . .

Anyway -- I have tags to wrap up, then bed to get to for my exodus out tomorrow. G'night all, and sleep tight!

Ouroboros came with the name Drake but I named him Corsair after a friend of the Doctor's who had a tattoo of an Ouroboros on all his regenerations.

Shadow came with the name Finn. I wanted to name it Silhouette but it's one letter too long so I named it Shade (and I keep typing Shada by mistake, lol).

I got the Celestial Habitat this morning. I just have it sitting idly by right now. I'm gonna move things around once the Ninth Island is clear (I'm afraid I'll accidentally remove something before the Fireflies reset so once I clear the five things I don't go near it).

I'm failing at a Cyclops now and still failing at a Mirage.

Nothing much else. Colosseum later. Boone won a Gold, threw Elsa into Cold.

DC: 175,024,460 (minus trying to get the food Fireflies); G: 430; FF: 152 (total should be 174 if food and Habitats cooperate)

Still trying to write that AL-Has-DragonVale story. I need to rewrite some of it to make it flow better and make better sense. I'm working on it during the little downtime at work I have. Hopefully I'll have something to post at some point. *pokes it*

Ooooh, cool. :) And LOL at the almost-misnaming of your Shadow. XD My Prism hatched this morning (with the help of some gems) -- came with the name Dreamer, but I stuck to my guns and named it Floyd. XD And I'm also going to be the proud owner of a Summer dragon soon enough! :D In the nursery now. :)

I did too -- got it at 900 so I'd have 75 straight out and a good idea of where I'm going. I think with gem-spending and a double weekend I SHOULD have just enough for the Twilight Tower. . .fingers crossed! Anyway, I threw in my Solstice and Equinox so it'll make some money, then get working on rearranging some of the other dragons later. The habitats are being stubborn about coughing up fireflies, so maybe if I have more of them. . .

Mesmer won a Silver, and Bunny's in Cold. DC: 357,769,999; G: 307; FF: 85 (should be 115 by the end if I just get food, habitat, and party hat fireflies from now on).
