Job Club Day!

Not quite what I was expecting, but useful nonetheless -- the PACE ladies are good allies in finding jobs that might fit your needs, and showing you places that could help you out in the long run. Found some good leads today for jobs, so that's always nice. Now I just have to keep applying so I can actually get something. . .

DragonVale is continuing to be mildly evil -- I'm starting to think my Ruby breeders will NEVER make a Ruby because they hate me -- buuut I do have a Summer dragon in the nursery, so that's nice. And my Prism hatched today with the help of some gems -- as promised, he's Floyd. :) And I think that I do have a chance at that Twilight Tower after all, so long as I'm smart about grabbing the fireflies. And they do a Double Weekend. (Still can't believe they skipped this last one. . .meh.) Keep your fingers crossed for me folks!

In Hearthstone, I FINALLY BEAT THAT FUCKING SPIDER. I looked up good builds for the damn thing on the Hearthstone wiki, and adjusted my Jaina's deck accordingly. First try was a bust, but second try I got him on the ropes and was FINALLY able to deal a killing blow. Woo-hoo! Now I have to beat the next boss -- apparently a good cheap Warlock deck should do the trick. . . I'll futz around with one for Gul'dan later.

Aaand that's about it for today. Got some more editing done on Chapter 3 of "In the Land of the Dead," so I'll be introducing Chapter 2 at the end of this week. And I'll try to have the edited version of Chapter 5 of "Forgetting You" up around the same time. (Not to mention I'm starting to feel the itch to start "Remembering You. . .") I've got some final replies to get to and such, so later!

Maybe use your gems to speed up Ruby fails? That's how I got the Hydra and Prism and the Mirage.

Yeah, after spending almost the whole 40 on the fails, I finally got a Mirage being bred. It will hit the Nursery tonight and hatch tomorrow. No Cyclops yet.

Nothing much else, though I'm looking forward to your new chapter. :p

DC: 196,751,179 (plus and minus Habitat and food Fireflies); G: 402; FF: 314 (total should be 360 if Habitats and food cooperate and after I get the Party Hats...I usually wind up missing out on the last 2 or 4 from the farms and/or DragonCash because they refuse to spawn). Like you, if next weekend's a Double (but it HAS to start on Friday) then I'll manage the Twilight Tower by Sunday as long as I can get the most Fireflies out of each day. Since this weekend's the end of the event, they might make it a Double. I think they did it for the Easter thing.

Elsa won a Gold, Ray is in Lightning.

The problem there is, you have more gems to burn than I do. Though I've gotten some short fails today that I've been speeding up once the eggs clear the nursery -- only to have them make the same low-level egg THREE TIMES IN A ROW. I am officially disgusted with the Ruby.

Congrats on the Mirage, though! I've gotten my Summer, who is named Bud. I find this adorable and hilarious compared to the other dragons and may just keep it. :P I also did some editing on Chapter 3 of "In the Land of the Dead," so I'm still ahead of the game. Chapter 2 should still be a go for Friday. :)

Yeah, well, ALL weekends were Double in the Magic Egg Event. . . I'll believe it when I see at this point. And I share your frustration over those last two just refusing to spawn -- I had to give up two from food last night out of sheer exhaustion. I'm still owed ten from the farms today, and a final two on habitats.

Anyway: Bunny won Gold, Tesla's in Lightning. DC: 380,029,205; G: 294 (see what I mean?); FF: 244 (should end day somewhere around 280).
