I went ahead and used some gems to get an egg out of the nursery and speed up another Electrum fail to give my Ruby breeders one last chance

AND THEY ACTUALLY FUCKING TOOK IT

I'M ACTUALLY GETTING A RUBY

It will be SO HARD for me not to call this poor dragon something horrible out of my frustration with getting it

I guess your idea of 'use gems and they'll eventually give you what you're looking for' pans out Gigs

though it leaves me at 266 gems

Well hopefully I can get a handful extra once the event ends

Just under the wire! Whew! And congrats!

I'm sitting in the office because there's a lady waiting for her kids to come back from a trail here and Kathy doesn't want to leave her by herself in here, so here's a brief update.

It's a Double but I'm still gonna be short if I don't spend real money. I haven't decided if I'm going to yet.

Peridot is live and I managed it by spending almost the whole 40 gems. My nursery will be full for a while with the Electrum and Rainbow in there.

I've almost maxed food and habitats and I'm gonna leave the party hats for tonight.

That's about it, though. I'll do the totals tonight.

To be fair, perhaps I should have expected this -- I got the Jet at the absolute last minute too. (Hell, I think Snowflame and Victor gave me a Jet within the last few HOURS of it being available.) I'm just really glad to have snagged it. And I'll probably call it Miracle to avoid calling it any mean names.

I think I'll just make it, largely thanks to having some island goodies still to clear. We'll see as the weekend goes on. Congrats on your Peridot, though! I'll have to start on mine once Solder and Narcissus clear the Breeding Island. I'm still working on food and habitats.

Sorry to hear about your car troubles. :( Here's hoping you manage to have lots of fun anyway!
