crossover_chickA tweet saying "O captain my captain" that you follow up on in confusion only to see in the related links that apparently Robin Williams has died.
Yeah -- 63 years old. They found him this morning, and it looks like suicide. I just -- wow. He's one of the last people I ever would have thought would do such a thing. I mean, it's Robin Williams! Comedian extraordinaire! Just -- wow. Harold Ramis, Bob Hoskins, and now him. We're going to miss you, guys.
I'm almost glad I don't have anything else much to report -- there's not much you can SAY after news like that. Let me put it into bullet form:
-->Edited more of Chapter 6 of "Forgetting You." Cleaned up and expanded some sections, and it's looking quite good if I do say so.
-->Hearthstone was just a pile of lose today. It's irritating as hell when the RNG God makes darn sure you have all these minion buffs (in the case of Thrall)/kill commands (in the case of Jaina), but no minions to work with.
-->DragonVale has some happier news -- I'm getting the Peridot. :) Hooray for not tearing my hair out over this! Now I can dedicate the rest of the week to breeding the Leaf, if necessary.
-->No call from the employment place -- buuuuut it's actually a holiday here in RI, so that's actually to be expected. (Victory Over Japan Day -- we're the only state that celebrates anymore. No clue why.) So we'll see what happens tomorrow.
Okay -- I have RP replies to answer, and the parents were nice enough to get whipped cream and hot fudge for dessert tonight. I -- think I'm gonna need it.

Date: 2014-08-12 04:46 pm (UTC)The Leaf should hatch sometime tonight with Kairos' help; he won't be ready until 4 or 5pm unfortunately.
I've managed to breed one of the Olympus dragons and I won't know which one until I see the egg tomorrow. I don't have any of them, so whichever it is is good. I'm building a Large Olympus so I can move my Hydra and Victory and have room for when I get the others. I kind of want to try for a Gold next because that's the last in the Treasure category I need. Maybe once my Geode fail is out.

Edit: Leaf came with the name Esta but I named it Foley as a short for Foliage.

Date: 2014-08-13 02:08 am (UTC)Awww, cute! :) And a good name for a Leaf. Still no luck with trying for one on my front, but now that my Peridot's in the nursery, I can dedicate both breeding areas to it. Wish me luck!
