Kind of a Wash Saturday

crossover_chickI ended up not getting much sleep last night -- I do pretty horribly with strange beds, especially when the pillows offer no support for the head at all -- so I was out of it for much of the morning. Ended up going on an El Goonish Shive binge. Along with watching Helloween play Dark Souls 2 DLC and The Sims Supply play The Sims 4 (the former died multiple times to a very hard boss, the latter had a rather poorly attended wedding event). I even tried taking a nap around 2, but that didn't work out well -- I couldn't really get to sleep, and then when I finally started to drift off, my mind suddenly panicked and thought I was back at the housesitting job and that I was oversleeping past my pick-up time. >.< Reasons I don't take naps, people.
Ended up going back there for a stint tonight, in fact -- current people there wanted a night out to eat. Very glad it was not an overnight -- I have another of those tomorrow, and I'd prefer to have one night in my own bed this weekend.
So yeah, not much done. I didn't even get to Sims 4 CAS Demo, and I've been meaning to so I can continue tweaking my Sims for a while. Hearthstone was a fail -- lost with Rexxar, though it was a pretty tight game -- the Gul'dan I was playing against just managed to get the winning minion just when he needed to. And then showed off when he knew he'd won, the silly. :P Spellfall has been a minefield of battles where I'm constantly trying to refill my special ability meters, only to need to use them moments later. Actually had my first full-on loss in a bit today trying to retake the Fire Temple. We're getting close again to the dragon end-boss, but damn I hope Eric levels more of his runes soon, or we might be in trouble. (Or hell, just levels up in general. You get extra health, attack, and defense every time.)
I can at least report some good things happening in DragonVale. Army, my Scoria, won a Gold in the Colosseum, and Stiller's taking on the Metal Event; I'm a mere sliver of experience way from leveling up to Level 47 in my park; those darn Boulder Piles on the Tenth Island should clear by tomorrow night; and I successfully bred and hatched a Paper dragon! :D One anniversary dragon down, two to go! I also should restart on my dragon rearranging project. . .
Well, anyway, RP replies call, so I'll be back tomorrow! Night all!
