crossover_chickFirst I was sleeping over tonight, then I wasn't and I was just going over for a few hours to relieve Mom, then suddenly I was again and she had to bring me all my night gear. . . Not to mention the confusion over whether or not I was sleeping over yesterday (I wasn't, I just did a two-hour shift to cover the people who were sleeping over going out). I so prefer it when we have a plan and stick to it. . .
Anyway, made for a fairly unproductive Sunday. Didn't do anything new with the drabbles on my website, and I only did a bit of snippet writing. And RP replies were delayed, but when is that not the case? I've been keeping up pretty well on them this evening, though. And I did get a walk in since the weather was decent, so there's that too.
Games Update:
-->DragonVale: I have Cottoned! :D This just leaves the Leathery to get for the anniversary month. Got two breeding pairs on the case -- unfortunately, one's making a Sun or Rainbow. >.< Come on, guys, if you're going to fail, can you at least fail hugely and get me a Double Rainbow? THAT'S the one I need! I also made Level 47 via feeding up one of my breeders. Stiller won a Silver in Cold, and I've got Kaboom, my Firework, in Air. And Tenth Island should be ready to clear by tomorrow morning. Goodbye, Boulder Piles!
-->Hearthstone: Two losses, both near-wins where I was outclassed at the last moment. Darn it -- it makes for a good game, but it's also pretty darn frustrating. Hmph.
-->Spellfall: Have almost completely retaken the Temple of Fire -- unfortunately, the boss kicked my ass on the first attempt, so now I have to wait and then fight some easier monsters to get my special abilities back up. Bleh. Plus side, I'm Level 19 now, so I can tank more hits and do more damage. Yaaay.
And that's about it for now. Should hit the sack so I'm not completely exhausted when I go home from this. G'night!

I got the Leathery so now I have two pairs trying for the Cotton. I also have Full Nursery Syndrome (friggen Rainbow...) so I'm stuck for a couple hours. I've been sacrificing one gem if I like wake up and there's less than an hour left before the end of breeding so I can get another one started before going back to sleep so I'm down a few.
With Kairos' help the Tenth Island is all summoned. All that's left to clear are the Huge Trees and Boulder Piles (and whatever's hiding behind them...I know there's at least one bush I can't get to yet). Also a couple of Boulders but they'll be gone in a few hours. I can't wait 'til I can redecorate properly.
I think that's about all. I'll have to come back at noon for the Colosseum. Slythe won a Gold and Spitz is in Cold.

Edit: Well I had to sacrifice 23 gems to do it but I've gotten the Cotton. :) Back to trying for the Olympuses.

I'm in the opposite situation you are -- I have the Cotton, so now I have two pairs trying for the Leathery. Fortunately my nursery is empty, so full nursery syndrome will hopefully not be an issue. And yeah, that's the way to sacrifice gems if you need to -- wait until you can spend the minimum necessary. Glad you got the Cotton in the end! And hey, with Backflip's anniversary gift, you probably got all those gems back. :D
My Tenth Island is clear, and I can tell you that there's at least a few small trees and two bushes behind boulders/other big stuff. I just put my Moon dragons on there for something to be on there until I get a Dream or Ouroboros. I think it would fit with the vague theme of that island, anyway. . .
