Another Quick One

crossover_chickNot really all that much to say -- I'm settling into a routine, getting my queues done at night, making plans on how to catch up on the other stuff I'm missing, stuff like that. Currently updating all my games and such on my iPad since I have the wifi access to do so for once. DragonVale's got themed islands now, it appears. Interesting.
Had another lonely supper, so I went ahead and watched Nostalgia Critic's Top 11 Best Avatar Episodes. Good show, even though I couldn't fully share in the "Dante Brasco" squee, given I'm, uh, not in the fandom for anything's he's done. ^^; He seems a cool guy, though, and the episode was funny. XD So yay for that then.
Nothing really to report in games -- Leathery hasn't hatched yet, I haven't succeeded on any other breeding projects, and I'm only just getting the Island themes, so impressions on those will have to wait until later. And Eric's just slowly but surely reclaiming the Dunket Cavern from those who have recaptured it. Watching him waste things with his burning sword is always fun. :)
All right, I just finished up with my queue for tumblr RP -- time to answer a few messages, hit DragonVale, and hit the sheets. Night all!

Date: 2014-09-25 12:08 pm (UTC)I'd be more inclined to maybe use those themes if a) they weren't so expensive and b) you didn't have to buy a new one ever time you used it. Like, they give you the Plant one for free, right? If you use it and then you want another Plant-themed Island, then you have to buy another one. No, thank you.
Melmac won a Gold (pushing me to 46) and Steve is in Water. I let it roll to this morning. We'll see how long that lasts.
Still failing at the Silver Olympus and the Autumn but I'm getting a Snowy Something. I'll find out tomorrow when I see the egg.

Date: 2014-09-28 02:45 am (UTC)Oh hey, another character I know almost nothing about :P Though to be fair at least I have some vague memories of having seen Hook. I've never seen A:TLA or anything related to it. It looks nice, but I barely have time for the stuff I already watch regularly.
Yeah, I agree that the price is rather excessive -- and plenty of people appear to be complaining about it on Facebook. Hopefully Backflip will listen and lower it somewhat. . . in the meantime, I'll just enjoy the one plant-themed island I have. :P
