Story Update. . .

crossover_chickthat's technically half of one. Here, let me show you what happened:
Me: Okay, time to upload Chapter 8 of "In The Land of the Dead!" Let me just copy it into its own separate document for uploading. . .

Me: And now we HOW THE FUCK DID THIS END UP 20 PAGES LONG
So, uh, yeah. ^^; In order to keep things balanced with the rest of the story (longest chapters so far are 11 pages), I split the chapter roughly in half and posted the first part as the new Chapter 8. Chapter 9 will come next week. I hope you do enjoy what I did post, though -- it's got some funny moments, plus some nods to other stuff and a cut character from CB. On FF.net or on AO3 (which has notes on what all the nods are).
In other news, we had our big meal today -- Turkish food! Which is surprisingly delicious and I would totally have again. Om nom nom. We've decided to make trying a different country's food a monthly thing -- we're doing Hungarian sometime in December. I hope it's good! It'll be an interesting culinary experiment, at least. And hey, if we get some new favorites, with any luck we can work them into our line-up.
Other than that, it's been a very quiet Friday, both on and off-line. Mom and Dad watched some movies, while I fussed about up here and watched Linkara's video on the origin of "The Avengers." Fun stuff -- I always love his Iron Man. XD Tomorrow's for Helloween's Alien LP, then Sunday for catching up with whatever's left, w000. Ahh, I love long weekends. Gonna be hard to readjust to the regular schedule. . .then again, December has some pretty long weekends too, so I think I'll be okay. :P
As things stand, I'm gonna go play some Spellfall and see if I can win back some recaptured areas (which is honestly starting to get a bit old -- I'm so close to the final boss I can taste it!) Wish me luck! Happy post-Thanksworthy all!

Sparky wasn't in Lightning...Neon was and he won a Gold and I think I wound up putting him in Water as well.

We saw Disney On Ice: Frozen today. Enjoyable show, though Antoinette was more interested in eating popcorn and catching the "snow" (we didn't figure out if it was soap or actual shaved ice). But still.
