crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)

31, wow. . .I'm only two years off 30 myself. O.o Anyway, I bring you another ponfied fic, since I figure it's a theme you like -- and hey, it's a favorite character of yours too!

And lo, peace was at last declared between –
"Whatcha doin', McFly?"
George hastily hid his latest story under a hoof. "N-nothing, Biff," he said, offering a shaky smile toward the stallion suddenly towering over him.
Biff Tanhoof smirked at him. "Yeah, that's right, nothing," he agreed. "Just scribblin' and making everypony wonder if you're gonna choke on your dumb pencil." Behind him, his ever-present gang of three sniggered. "Not like anypony's gonna care if you do, though. I mean, whoever heard of anypony who did anything special with a book on their butt?"
George resisted the urge to say that Biff's own cutie mark, the tire of one of those new magically-propelled carriages, wasn't anything to write home about either. That would have been suicide. "Did you want something, B-Biff?" he asked instead, hoping to make this encounter as short as ponyly possible.
"You got my homework?"
Ah, good, a familiar request. George reached into his saddlebag and pulled out the requested essay. "All ready to copy," he said as he hoofed it over.
"Great! Finally learnin', ain't ya?" Biff grinned, then deliberately spat on the papers still under George's hoof. Fortunately, the glob of saliva landed poorly, ruining the lead on just a couple of easily-replaced words. "'Bout this, at least. Give it up, McFly. Ain't nopony gonna ever give your stories time of night."
With that, he turned and trotted away, his sycophants falling into perfect step behind him. George watched them leave, then sighed as he uncovered his pages. Unwillingly, his gaze went back to the half-open book emblazoned on his rear. Much as he hated to admit it, Biff had a point. It was unlikely any pony would ever enjoy his stories.
After all, what good was a cutie mark that told the world you loved to write – if you were too shy to share your work?

George! Remember George? I figured it was only appropriate to do something involving him since it's a BTTF year. :) You can consider this an AU version of one of the many encounters George and Biff must have had over the years involving stuff like this. Biff knows what George is doing because, well, this is My Little Pony. Your special talent really IS emblazoned on your ass for all to see. Though Biff really only knows that George likes to write, not write sci-fi in general. That's still a secret. Biff's own cutie mark, the white-wall tire, was inspired by the fact that his other major character trait is a love of cars -- racing them and detailing them. I figured it was appropriate (and giving him a bullying cutie mark seemed a bit too much, even for Biff). Also, I know it's a bit weird to ponify Biff's name a bit and not George's, but I really couldn't think of anything for George. And McFly would actually be a good name for a pegasus, so maybe George can be one of those? The shy, not-that-great-a-flier kind like Fluttershy, maybe.

Still, I hope you like! It was fun writing the encounter, and we know things will get better for him in the future. (LOL, maybe he writes the sci-fi equivalent of Daring Do novels.)

In other news, I have picked up a cold! Or at least a persistent sore throat and tiredness. Despite this, though, I've actually had a pretty good day:

-->Had the morning to myself, so I was able to get all the vacuuming out of the way without a problem
-->Was smart enough to write the moment I fired up the computer! Fresh page on "Remembering You," w000
-->Caught up on Helloween's "The Evil Within" LP, which remains full of WTF and excessive gore, but at least is throwing a tiny bit of story our way (something about synchronized consciousness gone awry, I think). And Hell's is amusing as always :D
-->I am the proud owner of an Apocalypse dragon in DragonVale! Or at least the egg -- Magneto and Simon finally favored me with the egg last night, and it's incubating now. My Panlong breeders remain asses, but they did give me a Solar Eclipse. Might put that on a pedestal. Just the Dark Rift and Panlong to go now -- hooray for Bring Em Back going another week! Oh, and I got the second of the Snowflakes -- actually came with the very appropriate name Powder, but I stuck with my theme and named him Kai. Not stressing out about iceberries anymore, w000 (haven't a hope of getting the remaining prizes, so yeah)
-->Played some original-flavor Alice just now. Had to go back a save because I started one level with so little health. The freakin' SKOOL, no less. Oh my God, I'm rusty at this -- I keep forgetting about certain enemies, and my aim is way off. Weirdly enough, I'm wondering if the problem is the controls -- specifically, the fact that I play the sequel with a controller and find that ten times more fluid. I'm not used to doing this shit in AMA anymore! Though I do have to use mouse/keyboard in Portal 2, so. . . *shrug*
-->Patriots won their game, so yay for that. Football Sundays here can be rough with how much Dad gets into it.

All right, task of the moment -- catch up on RP! Have a good night, everyone!
