I still think it's pretty awesome that the woman who played Doc's love interest and the man who was more or less named as Doc's favorite author share a birthday. :D Fate? Kismet? Whatever you want to call it, it's most appropriate.
Apart from that bit of Backie pride, it's been a pretty average gloomy Sunday around here. Mucked about on the web -- I'm rereading selections from my favorite screenshot AMA LP, as you do. Also caught up with Helloween's stuff, which is depressingly easy since his ISP is giving him shit. *pats him* I also contacted Origin about the Sims 4 "hey I don't think I got that Game Pack I paid for" thing, have not yet received a reply. Hmph. If I don't get anything by tomorrow morning I'll try again.
In EA Games I don't need to contact support for, got through the three pre-boss levels of Queensland. Suffered much death in trying to get through Battle Royale effectively, I must admit -- the amount of guards that spawn in some areas is just ridiculous. Particularly when I'm trying to skip some with the Deadtime Watch and they land on my head. *facepalm* But I made it through, along with Ascension and Castle Keep. Used my favorite skip trick for the latter, although I don't know how much time I actually saved given all the dudes I had to kill thanks to the "wrong portrait sends you back and spawns in enemies" thing. Actually, something rather weird happened -- the game tried to spawn in two enemies at once in the same spot when I did this trick with the Diamond room, and the net result is that I had three sets of two Card Guards stuck on each other hovering in midair at certain parts of the room until I killed one in each set. XD Gotta love glitches. Anyway, just the final boss fights await -- and since I once again have no work tomorrow thanks to inclement weather, I'll probably do that then.
And on the writing front, got a page or so done in "Remembering You," so that's nice. Hooray for progress. Now I've just gotta see about catching up on the RP thing, as I do. . . G'night all! Stay warm and dry!
