Not Quite A Relaxing Saturday

crossover_chickWhich can be traced to two major causes:
A) I woke up around noon, cutting at least one hour out of my life. Admittedly, I ended up staying up past three last night because I was reading something, but I'm really not used to sleeping the entire morning away.
B) My parents found this job opportunity for me to apply to (it's data entry for the local courthouse), so I had to spend some time setting up an account and applying, which included having to look up a password I'd forgotten and apparently hadn't written down, meeeh.
Add in the usual vacuuming and some necessary exercise (finishing off Tim Burton's Alice in the process), and something had to be skipped -- and that something was Sims 4. I really wanted to play today, but there were a lot of other things I wanted to do too, and video games ended up the casualty. *sigh* Ah well.
Fortunately, it was a loss well-worth it -- besides the application, I also finished up editing another chapter of "Triskaidekaphobia," caught up with The Adventures of Detective Budget via Helloween (aka The Evil Within, which just gets sillier and sillier), and caught up with all the other websites I try to read but usually can't on weekdays. Also been egg-gathering in DragonVale -- have enough for the new path design, and hopefully soon will have enough for the Monolith Habitat. That'll be going on my new island, which I summoned in so I'd have things to clear off it for this event. *nods* Suppose I should also spend some gems, since it's a double weekend. . .eh, we'll see. Might at least buy a couple more egg pedestals if I can afford them.
