Sims 4 Update Saturday

crossover_chickAmong other things, but the Sims 4 stuff has pictures to share, so that's what gets put in the title bar. I'll give you the other events of the day in a quick list:
-->Weather: Woke up to it snowing again, which was icky. However, it stopped by about one o'clock -- and then, over the rest of the day, pretty much entirely melted away! :D There's still globs here and there, but there's also lots of visible ground. Maybe spring IS coming after all.
-->Wrote some of a story scene for personal reading purposes -- just wasn't feeling "Triskaidekaphobia" today. I gotta work on happier stuff, even stuff only I will see, sometimes or it'll just bring me down. :(
-->Caught up on the adventures of Detective Budget in Helloween's LP of The Evil Within. Silly game is silly, but Helloween has been stumbling on some enjoyable sections. And some very much not enjoyable ones, mostly involving Roombas of Doom. These last chapters are going to be fuuuun. XD
-->Got all my eggs in DragonVale -- despite apparently messing up my math or the game glitching and giving me extra habitat eggs while withholding food ones. O.o Very weird, though as long as I get everything. . . And, in fact, I got more than I expected.
I FINALLY HAVE A GOLD OLYMPUS IN THE NURSERY :D So freaking happy, seriously! Now there's just the Seasonal and the Third Snowflake to get! And the Monoliths, but one thing at a time.
-->Got in a half-hour on the elliptical, listening to some very good music (go check out Fitz and the Tantrums, people) and watching two more episodes of "Over the Garden Wall." Still weird, still a little too short per episode, but now that we've gotten to the truly creepy/depressing stuff, it's finally starting to work for me. Hooray for reaching the bits tumblr always talked about!
And now, time for Sims 4!
Starting off with a few pics from last week of Geeker -- I think I was trying to get a picture of him being confident/romantic with his friend Leslie, but it didn't really come through. On the other hand, now at least you can see what she looks like! :) Nice girl, huh? She's Active, Gloomy, and a Geek, and she and Geeker get on really well -- Lovebirds, as I reported earlier.
Geeker ran into some rather unfortunate computer trouble when I played him -- namely, his very important computer broke. Now, I could have replaced it, but with him low on cash and high on needs I decided to take a risk and just repair it. And, to my delight, it worked -- no electrocution necessary! Still, hoping it doesn't break again until I can get him more Repair skill.
Just a funny picture that makes me wonder why I even got him a better TV. Obviously his phone is more interesting. XD
And now onto today's adventures with Victor and Alice! Starting off with a picture showing off their sleepwear -- yes, I gave Alice a robe with bunny slippers. It seemed appropriate. XD
Alice's next step toward aspirational success involved making emotional paintings -- which required her to be something other than Inspired all the time. I checked around for things that could inspire certain moods, and stumbled across the Freshen Up option on the mirror, which said it would make Sims Flirty. I ran with that, got her in a flirty mood, and sent her to paint -- this. Apparently the Insane Children still have her art skills. XD (She also did another one later of what looked like a cat and a dog in a "Lady & The Tramp" spaghetti situation -- I thought that was cute and kept it. I'll have to get a picture later.)
Alice naturally started getting all sorts of Flirty wants thanks to her mood -- especially when her Insane trait suddenly added its own little boosting moodlet and made her Very Flirty. Well, no time like the present to start on my OTP, I figured, and sent her off to be flirty at Victor --
But first, this happened. XD Before you ask, I was so startled by this I checked his needs -- not going to the bathroom, just sitting there. Apparently the pixellation is automatic when a Sim plops down on the toilet, regardless of whether or not they're fulfilling the related need. Ookay then! XD Oh, and that dress is one of Alice's alternate Everyday outfits -- I chose it because it kind of looks like a reversed version of her classic blue dress. :D
I eventually got Victor off the toilet, and Alice started flirting with dirty jokes and sexy posing. Victor was receptive and I decided to step it up a notch and have Alice offer him a rose.
This quickly put Victor in a Flirty mood too, and I had him kiss her hands in thanks.
I finally got them out of the bathroom and into the kitchen for more romantic interaction (or, rather, Alice randomly decided to use the toilet despite her bladder need being fine and shooed Victor out; I canceled the action and had her follow him), but they decided to chat first and -- well --
this happened. XD Oh, clipping, you are the funniest thing ever sometimes! However, this Siamese Twinness was followed by a truly squeeworthy (and also quite funny) moment:
Victor and Alice's very first kiss. Victor got the Whim for it, and I HAD to fulfill it. I know Alice looks very surprised her (probably stunned anyone would WANT her to be their first kiss), but both she and Victor got a very happy moodlet from it -- and Victor, the wants both to woohoo and ask Alice to be his girlfriend. I've got the latter pinned for when they're close enough for that interaction to be available. :)
And after all that, let's end on a completely anticlimatic picture of Victor planting an apple because I decided he needed to grow some fruit and an apple tree seemed ideal given I've made one of his favorite foods apples. His garden's doing quite well -- and get this -- their lot not only has special collectible rocks, but also a fishing access point! :D I love this stuff in the game, so I am excite. Though I guess I should really get them OFF the lot at some point. . .maybe next Saturday.
Whew! Busy day in video gaming! Now I have to get back to answering tumblr replies. G'night all!
