-->Got up about 8:30 this morning, had an apple for breakfast because I didn't have any muffins nor enough ingredients to make a smoothie. Still, apple was decent enough

-->Got a ride into Providence with Dad since he was heading into the city himself. Hit one major slowdown where they SAID they were filling in potholes but really were just mucking around on the taxpayer dime; also heard a song on the radio I quite like and will be searching for later on iTunes (Walk the Moon's "Shut Up and Dance")

-->Reached mall, wandered around it to get some exercise

-->Dropped by Newbury's -- wasn't really tempted by anything in there beyond the portable version of Wreck This Journal, and even that wasn't strong enough to get me to buy it (mostly curious as to what some of the prompts were)

-->Hit Subway -- used up the rest of my gift card on a Chicken & Bacon Ranch Melt sandwich (om nom nom)

-->Headed into Dave & Buster's, went to recharge card -- and decided, "You know what? I'm making no other major purchases today, and this is the main reason I come to the darn mall." Proceeded to spend 56 dollars on 375 electronic game chips

-->Deal was well worth it -- played a bunch of my favorite games, got a bunch of tickets! Though I ran into problems with two games -- one had a ticket game so it wasn't dispensing; the other took my chips but then didn't let me play the game. Fortunately both were fixed pretty quickly by a maintenance guy, who was also nice enough to get me some free play on the game that tried to cheat me. Also got a coupon after recharging the card that offers to give $20 worth of gameplay chips when I buy $20 worth (so I'd be getting $40 worth for half price, basically) so long as I come back before the beginning of June. Will have to schedule a trip up in May

-->One sad note -- the music kiosk in D&B is gone. No more getting free music :(

-->Hit Pinkberry's afterward for a small chocolate hazelnut with chocolate crispies and chocolate mint cookie pieces, om nom

-->Came out into 58-degree weather; took a longer, more roundabout route to the bus stop as a result to enjoy the warmth :)

-->Took bus straight to local mall to check out the local bookstore and see if I could spend my $25 gift certificate. I was looking for The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents, the first in the Discworld young adult novels (need to start on those, especially since the last Discworld novel ever will be one), but they didn't have it. What they did have was A Blink of the Screen, which is a collection of his short fiction. In hardcover, so it ate up the entire gift certificate, but I don't care. It goes well with Raising Steam, and I really wanted it. :) Barnes & Noble sends enough enough "15% off this weekend" coupons for me to get the other stuff anyway XD

-->Came home, proceeded to alternate between catching up on things and messing around without a plan :P

So yeah, have to say that it was a pretty good day overall. :) Had lots of fun, and it was nice to get out and about on my own terms. Now if only I could coax DragonVale into giving up more of those darn eggs. . .

Nothing much to really report on the DV front. Pedestal making and egg collecting. I'm 72/215...will be 74 when this Lunar Eclipse and Snowy Gold are ready.

Oh, yeah! I did finally manage to breed a third Ovalith and get rid of that pesky Goal. It came with the name Ava and I kept it for lack of anything better. Now my Gemstone Island is full so if there's anymore Gemstone Dragons they'll have to go in the Habitat.

I'm waiting today just in case they do a Double for this last weekend (which, if they're smart, they should). I did wind up collecting eggs from breeding only because I needed the space but at least they're easy to collect if you get them too early, unlike some (I'm glaring at you habitats and food). Edit: Double ahoy!! I should be able to get the second Monolith by Saturday.

I think that's it.

DC: 1,928,206,933 (I may not get the next Island when I hit 2Bil...I haven't decided yet); G: 456

WARNING! WARNING!! Watch when you're collecting the Hidden Egg! They went and hid more than just the big gold one! You get a gem and 60 from the gold one as normal, then there's a blue and a green one that give 10 eggs and a purple and a pink one that gives 4 eggs. They also wobble a little if you watch them long enough. I got 110 total before the icon changed. So 60 from the normal gold one and another 50 from the others. They're spawn rate is crap, too.

So Ed bought a $2500 elliptical machine off the YMCA he works at for $100 and I did a combined total of two Sailor Moon episodes (roughly 24 minutes each) and now I feel like crap and just want to shower and lay down, so AL will reply tomorrow.

Side note...that last chapter, has that been posted as a short or something before because I could've sworn I've read it before (and you know me...I wouldn't make a habit of reading something like that; nothing against your writing because it's brilliant as always, just...you know...)

Also side note if you're interested...My Little Pony Friendship is Magic season 5 starts tomorrow at 11am.

Want to know the kicker about it? They decided to replace it with a newer model because...wait for it...it doesn't have a TV. The area this Y is in is a kind of "well-off" area so they're big into getting new things when the old thing, while working, doesn't meet their expectations. Still, their loss is our gain I guess, lol. I just stick my phone on it and watch whatever; doesn't need a TV (but then I have common sense, haha).

Actually while ours is in the dining room (currently...it's supposed to be moved once the junk room is devoid of junk) all you have to do is turn your head to the left and there's the TV. Though Ed and I have been using our phones lately anyway. Depends on the mood.
