Rushing All Around Sunday

crossover_chickBecause no matter what promises I make myself, I fail at productivity on long weekends. Though at least not much more than I fail at it on regular weekends. I DID get that post for Marty up, after recalling that today was a holiday and he could just ask about that, along with some tags for Alice and a PM on Victor's account. (Gigs, I tried to get to yours, but time forbade -- I'll draft out a reply at lunch tomorrow.) I also:
-->Got in more writing -- AU stuff I'm not likely to show anybody else, but it counts as practice. Tomorrow I think I'll go back to "Forgetting You" to get myself psyched up for "Remembering You."
-->Got the Second Monolith, Dorfl, in DragonVale. Have officially stopped counting eggs since the events almost over and I don't have a chance of getting the Relic anyway. I'll just take what I can get.
-->Got another page of the 2011 100 Drabbles of Summer up on my webpage: #71-80 Mostly cutesy/fun stuff, with one depressing one near the beginning (deals with Victor post-Alice's death, poor guy)
-->Played Victor & Alice's house in The Sims 4. As I'm running short on time, I'll link you to my photo post on tumblr of the day rather than doing the pictures here. Basically it was a day of aspirational success but romantic fail -- and why can't we paint Embarrassed paintings?? Or Energized ones? Dropped the ball there Sims 4! Ah well, at least Alice was sad long enough to paint a sad one. . .weird thing to say, but she needed emotional paintings for her aspiration.

And tomorrow and Tuesday night, I've got overnight gigs at Mom's work because everybody has to be someplace and they need someone at the house. From what I understand, I don't have to go over there too early -- like not until around my actual bedtime -- so that's not so bad. . .
. . .but the mornings are looking like they could be HELL. We'll see.
Speaking of which, I could have a bad morning if I don't get to bed now, so g'night all!
