Happy Anniversary BTTF III!

crossover_chickSince I managed to completely miss George's birthday (seriously how the hell did I manage that, so sorry George), I figured I had to acknowledge at least the movie anniversaries. So yeah, today is the date of the release of BTTF III in 1990, making it officially 25 years old! I'll probably find a moment to watch at least the trailer for it before going to bed.
Not much to say about today -- spent most of it either playing games or finishing off that Sims 4 LP I was watching. Or, well, the first part of it -- TheSimSupply did a "Rags to Riches" challenge with his sim Lady Bigwallet, which is what I just watched -- but afterwards, he decided to keep playing her more normally. So there's an entire second playlist of her life post RtR if I want to check that out. We'll see. :) In my own gaming, came across a rather weird glitch in A:MR -- when I entered the temple fight (where the wasps are beating up some ant monks, right before the bell rhythm minigame), instead of the proper Wasp Samurai, the game put in a bunch of INK WASPS, scaled up. It was kind of hilarious, to be honest -- and surprisingly detailed, for an enemy that's generally just a blob of ink flying at you. They changed back once I started attacking them, though. On the plus side, I somehow managed to ACE the rhythm minigame on the first try! On the minus, I took loads of damage from that wretched room in trunk where all the Drifting Ruin pelt you with crap and you can't kill them because they'll just respawn. Managed to get past them without dying, though I once got stuck in one of the Ruin "waterfalls" coming from the ceiling, which could have killed me handily had I not fallen to the floor for a respawn. Ugh, worst room in the game, bar none. But hey, I'm past it and to the land of paper fans, so that's good.
Got the first bit of Chapter 12 of "Forgetting You" edited today as well -- one major adjustment in Victor's reaction to Alice using the worlds "featureless dark" to describe the results of her post-Deluded Depths session, and Alice's reaction to Victor (she really came off as kind of callous the first time, I think). And I just did tumblr queues -- but as I need to get to bed at a halfway decent hour tonight (work tomorrow and all that), DW tags will have to wait until tomorrow. Should be able to draft over my lunch break at work.
Right now, though, I have things to catch up on, so g'night, sleep tight!
