Pre-Birthday Preparations

Got the party all drafted out for tomorrow -- now I just have to hope it's not thunderstorming so bad that I can't post it! Be wrong, weathermen, be wrong. . . I also queued up birthday posts on the tumblrs, so that's all set at least.

Not much to say about today -- one of the scanners had a funeral to go to, so I ended up downstairs helping out with some of the scanning for a while. Well, once the darn computer let me. . .I swear, they're slow as molasses sometimes. >.< Also got in my walk despite it looking like it was gonna rain off and on. At least it's decently warm outside for a change. . .and supposed to get hot as the week goes on. Believe it when I see it.

Interesting thing of note: Backflip's finally gotten off its butt and added Light and Dark shrines, Light and Dark Colosseum events, and Light and Dark Dragon Track races to DragonVale! Along with updating the island looks a little, adding ANOTHER island to buy (we never seem to have enough space XD), and updating the Colosseum to look awesomely semi-steampunky. So much approve. :D

All right, I really do need to get to bed -- night all, sleep tight!

Goddamn it! Well, that explains why it didn't update on its own. *moves more apps to the SD card, deletes a bunch of duplicate pictures and tries again*

Hrmph. I have to remember when I take pictures to only keep the good one. :/ And...you know, I was saving to get both the Eleventh and Twelfth Islands together. Now they go and have a Thirteenth. *sigh* Okay, Light and Dark Shrines are being built. I think I'll just go and get the Eleventh for the space since it seems I may be redecorating eventually (and it's not a lot to clear it). Then I'll just save up for Twelve and Thirteen. I feel like I'm talking about Doctors and not Islands, lol.

The graphics look a little sharper, too. At least to me. They really should upgrade the Nursery, though. Now with three breeding environments it's too easy to get Full Nursery Syndrome.

And ooh! They have a pedestal counter now! Yay! No more checking to see if I have one!!

Heh, yeah -- I really need to clear out some of my old pictures too. I don't use my iPad as a camera that often, but I do have some duplicate DragonVale screenshots. Fortunate for me iPads can hold more data.

That just figures, doesn't it? I'll have to build the Light and Dark shrines myself (and it really took them long enough, didn't it?). And yeah, I know. XD *imagines Doctors with price tags on their jackets*

Yeah, I thought so too. Textures seem a little neater and so on. But yeah, with you on upgrading the nursery -- though a bigger one would probably force me to move some stuff around. . .and I really don't use all three at once typically. *shrug*
