1st Day Alone

crossover_chickMy parents are on vacation to Block Island, so I have the house to myself!
. . .since it's the middle of the work week, only real difference is that I watched Linkara take on "Ultimate Power" and its porn tracing (seriously, some of those faces/positions) with my supper. Which was still nice and amusing.
Other things of note:
-->Finally got a Halo dragon egg! Maybe once I hatch it DragonVale won't be so obsessed with showing me the "it's here!" banner.
-->Am reading To Your Scattered Bodies Go, first in the Riverworld series. It's. . .not that good. I will likely go into more detail later, but PJF has a real problem with glossing over cool stuff. *makes note to ferret this tendency out ruthlessly in my own writing*
-->Am also reading up lots on Bloodborne lore. This is made of awesome and creepy and keeps making me think of Victor and Alice kicking eldritch horror ass. :D Hell, the way the Queen of Hearts looks. . .could lead to some DAMN CREEPY headcanons if you know Lovecraft's theories on dreams.
-->Weather was annoyingly gloomy all day. Never rained, but never cleared up until like 7 at night. Hmph. Hope it's better tomorrow, for me and the parents.
-->Got a good spot of rewriting done on Chapter 13. I can't promise I'll make my Friday deadline for updating, but I'll try.
