Happy Alice Day!

crossover_chickOh yeah, there's that thing about American independence too. . . Seriously, though, the rowboat trip that marked the telling of the first version of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland happened today in 1862. Kind of weird that it would sync up with such a famous American holiday, but it's all cool, really. Gives me a little something extra to be excited about. XD
It's been a pretty low-key 4th for me. Slept til ten, then spent most of the morning writing on Chapter 15. Mostly because -- I more or less ended up rewriting the entire first part of the chapter. ^^; Seriously, it needed it. Now more things happen and Alice talks to people other than herself and it's just generally better. That is the ongoing theme of this revision, honestly -- me realizing that this story could have been so much better and making it so. Hopefully "Remembering You" will be a more decent story from the beginning. . .
Anyway, Mom made lunch (she's gotten very good at getting around with crutches, and she wants to do stuff, so), and after that I cleaned up the house a bit for her. And after that I took a walk for my exercise -- it was cloudy up until about 6 today, but decently warm, so yeah, might as well get out! Then after that was A:MR -- I'm back in the "creepy-cheerful" part of the stage, working my way back to Fort Resistence. I've got all bottles, so that's good -- just have to get the last snouts, memories, and Radula Room. I figure that I'll finish off the Dollhouse by Monday, then next Friday I'll get through the Infernal Train boss fight and finish off the game. (And go back for that one snout I missed in the Deluded Depths, because that bugs me greatly.) After that -- well, I dunno. Might get back into Sims 4 -- though I'm still figuring out what mods would be best to keep the game running as it should (aka NOT DELETING SIMS ROMANTIC INTERESTS). Or maybe I'll just watch more YouTube videos of stuff. Sky's the limit. :P
Right now, I'm doing tumblr RP stuff -- cleared up my DW tags and such earlier. So yeah -- happy fourth, and have a good weekend regardless of nationality!
