crossover_chick | Monday The 13th

Granted, my day wasn't bad, just a little dull near the end. But when I got home -- well, Dad's having problems with the postal service (not good when you mail things for a living), and Mom's MRI results are in and she's hurt even worse than we first expected (though not to the point of requiring surgery, thankfully). Stress fracture, bone bruising, her knee is basically not holding together at all. . . it's just a really shitty situation. So it's been a mildly grumpy night. Did get some things done, though:

-->Worked on Chapter 16, leaning strongly toward combining it with the Cardbridge chapter. Also considering having a flashback/memory of Victor trying to get that clerking job that's mentioned obliquely in the chapter he finds Bumby's journal for when he next appears -- trying to show things more actively, after all!

-->Tumblr queues are set, and I'm all caught up on all my dashes

-->Current DW tags/messages are drafted, and I'll be posting those up in just a minute

-->Summoned in the 13th island in DragonVale -- Gigs warned me an event's coming up, so I figured I'd have that prepped for extra "collectible" goodies

-->Managed to defeat a Silver-level enemy in Spellfall without taking damage -- and yeah, I spent some in-game coins on powerups beforehand, but it's rare that they never even get a chance to touch me. So I'm gonna brag a little anyway :P
