Definitely Fall Monday

Not only did I wear pants, I wore SHOES -- as in, actual things that covered my FEET and required SOCKS. Now, granted, I wear my sneakers every time I go out for an official walk, but all other times I've been going barefoot or wearing my sandals. Pack up the beach umbrellas and eat the last of the watermelon -- summer's officially over!

. . .Well, sort of. It's still supposed to skim the bottom of the 80s for the next couple of days, and the general prediction for the rest of the month seems to be "warmer than you'd think." But that's still way cooler than what we had over Labor Day, and you can see some of the leaves starting to turn, the berries ripening. . .it's nice, and I won't say I don't like the weather (high 60s through low 80s with little humidity is best), but. . .

Winter is coming.

Okay, trying not to think about that. . .busy day at work today, tracking down giving histories and helping people with their pledges on top of the usual stuff. Did still get all my DW replies drafted, including a PM I've been meaning to get to. Also have managed fourth anniversary dragon in DragonVale already, yay~ Though I may not have a habitat for it. . .I'll have to check my storage tower. *insert comment about how the park needs a revamp I'll probably never do* Also got started on editing Chapter 18 again, with Alice meeting the White King. Hopefully I can keep up my momentum -- though should she inquire about the White Queen? Hmmm. *makes note of that in document so she can add it in if she wants*

Anyway, fairly productive day, and I should end it with finishing off my tumblr queue and getting the DW stuff out of the way. Night all!

Be careful while collecting the flags on the last leg of the Faire. There's 13 of the little effers running around (at least there were this first day and yes calling them that may be harsh but I'm from Jersey and they annoy me by hiding all the time). I maxed the tickets pretty quickly. The Relic of the Epics is there but it's 5370. The Faire Dragon is only 2150. I dunno. I want to see how many I have by the time the thing ends before spending more. I currently have 7939.

I hope I can co-op breed the Tourmaline.

Thirteen?! Hang on, there was two for each other phase of the Faire, one for each element. . .so there's three extras?? Baaaackfliiiiip . .though going on the hunt for them DOES max out tickets quickly. And gives you a pretty good payout too, given they all give you money as well.

. . .the Faire Dragon is 6,445. How did you get 2,150?? Still, it's something to save up for, I suppose. I just hope I can afford all the decorations I want afterward. . .

I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya -- getting that sucker was a pain in the ass on my end.

By the by, it came with the name Frosty but I named it Sussex for the Sussex County State Fair.

Huh! Well, I hope you got the lesser amount. I'd like to know how the hell Backflip let a mistake like that go live in the first place, but whatever. *nods* Sussex -- I like it.

Also, I'm glad your mom got through her surgery all right. Fingers crossed her recovery goes well!
