Minor Annoyances

crossover_chick-->Parish update report at work being very much NOT up-to-date, forcing me to do a lot of poking around on the internet and wondering "is this right? Do I really want to change this?"
-->Similar problem with going through the obituaries (we save them from the daily paper for updating purposes) -- Juniors, Seniors, and those with similar names can be very tricksy indeed
-->Very long bus ride home (one accident, one cop-by-the-side-of-the-road-let's-all-slow-way-the-fuck-down), and I couldn't even use the brief burst of wifi I get going by Burnside park to fully catch up on tumblr
-->Shoulder still hurts some (though it's doing better -- I just wish I hadn't accidentally put my bag with my heavy book inside on it for a minute), and earlier I had a nasty headache too
-->DragonVale has pulled some shit -- for their final bonus weekend, they've put up a new limited dragon. It's the Muse, Olympic/Dream, and while it doesn't cost a whole heck of a lot, even with a double weekend, getting that and the Faire means I wouldn't be able to buy anything else. Unless I spent money, which I am in fact LESS inclined to do now since I see this as a cash grab -- "Oh shit, too many players can afford too much stuff THROW IN AN EXTRA DRAGON" I KNOW that's not what it's meant as, but opening up the app today (which is running like ass ever since I upgraded to iOS 9, how nice) and seeing that -- it just rubbed me the wrong way.
Honestly, I think some of this is either me PMSing or being overly tired, possibly both. And despite all this leading me to binge on old Sluggy Freelance strips and listen to various levels of angry music, I AM getting stuff done -- wrote more on Chapter 18, and I did Butterfly Boy's tumblr queue. Getting started on Forgotten's now, and I'll probably wrap up with some late-night DW stuff.
So yeah, that's the report for me today. Night all, and hopefully I'll be in a better mood tomorrow.
