But in this timeline, no. Another skip day for BTTF today -- though tomorrow will definitely make up for these two "quiet canon" days, as we well know.
So, despite the weather being fairly shitty (cold, windy, rainy), I still headed up to the mall and had a good time. Highlights include:
-->Finding the new BTTF comic at Newbury's! . . .Except it's issue #2! Yeah, I'd forgotten that the second one was out now. I looked around a bit, but no sign of the first one. Meh. Second one's fun, though -- there's a story about a Doc who never was thanks to a rather unusual early form of time travel, and a fun little diversion about Marty needing to get a science project together last minute. Good stuff.
-->Heading up to Dave & Buster's to do the half-price games thing -- only to discover EVERYONE ELSE HAD THE SAME IDEA. Another thing I'd forgotten is this is a holiday EVERYONE has off, so of course the place was packed. Still got to play almost all of my favorite games, though, and I did pretty good ticket-wise, so that was fun. Though I WISH I could have beaten the Kung-Fu Panda game -- I'm always just ONE target away from getting the ultimate prize. Hmph.
-->Had frozen yogurt from Pinkberry's this time around -- chocolate hazelnut with mini chocolate chips, mini chocolate crisps, and cookies and creme. Yuuum. They've also started selling proper ice cream now, so that's something to check out in the future.
Came home around 3:30, having read my comic on the bus -- and made the mistake of going on TV Tropes to see if the comics had their own entry. Where I ended up reading the franchise page for BTTF, the one for Ryan North's blog of the novelization by George Gipe. . .and then following a link to Cracked, which was the REAL time-waster. So, uh, yeah, now I'm in scramble mode to answer all my RP stuff. Like a typical Sunday, really, which is what this day has felt like. . .
One good thing, though -- I took advantage of the day off to get Chapter 21 of "Forgetting You's" Blu-Ray edition up! It's queued to post Friday on my tumblr, but you all can read it now: on my website, on FF.net, or on AO3. Time to tackle Chapter 22 -- though I suspect I'll be starting that Friday, since tomorrow is BTTF Day: The Big One. (Well, second-biggest this year, thanks to 2015 and all, but still big.)
Right now, though, RP scramble time. Night all!
