Saturday of Tropes

crossover_chickWell, Saturday evening of Tropes, anyway, which killed my plans to play Sims today and made me late to the RP side of things. This is what happens when I go on expecting to just have a quick poke around. . .
Fortunately, I did get my writing done before I wandered onto the site. First part of Chapter 23 is edited! Though I don't know if I can add "to my satisfaction" to that or not. . .it proved to be kind of tricky. Mainly in showing where the hell Alice is -- the room I've got her in is hard to describe! But I got something that works, I think, and I can go over it again later before posting.
Also watched Linkara today -- Supergirl's origin story, which is kind of dull when compared to some of the others. Linkara calling out Superman on being a dick for shoving his cousin in an orphanage instead of finding a way for her to live with him was funny, though. And he promises the last Secret Origin is going to be a villain origin, which fans have been asking for. Looking forward to seeing who it is -- the theme this year is "characters who are currently popular in other forms of media, namely TV shows," but as I don't watch any regular TV, nor any of Netflix's own series. . . *shrugs*
Only other things of note beyond that is hatching my Comet dragon -- named it Halley because what else are you going to call a Comet dragon? XD -- and planning a trip out Wednesday afternoon to look at new beds because that's my Christmas present from the folks this year. Birthday is a new office chair -- maybe we can look at those too while we're out. I'm a little worried getting a double bed will cramp my space (my room isn't that big), but Mom assures me it'll be fine, so. . . And the chair I really do need.
So yeah, that's been my day. Time to head out and answer what tags I have remaining. Night all!
