Got woken up early by my dad having a fit about how the Pats game went (we lost, and apparently the general feeling is we lost not because of bad playing but bad calls), and things just went downhill from there. I tried to do the billing files only to do them wrong twice over, my coworkers kept having computer problems, Dad's having issues with eBay, and it was pretty damn cold all day just to put the cherry on the shit sundae for everyone. Hmph.

Some small nice things happened, though -- Mom got my bus pass for me so I didn't have to worry about going out tonight, QI (Quite Interesting, British "quiz" show with Stephen Fry (though he's handing over the reins to a lady named Sandi Toksvig after the current series), Alan Davies, and a bunch of other rotating guests, it is hilarious, go find it on YouTube) was funny as usual, and despite a slow start I got the beginning of Chapter 24 of "Forgetting You" edited. Alice is confronting Bumby and the Dollmaker, w0000~ Though of course the real fun doesn't happen until Chapter 25. . .

Anyway -- want to get to bed a smidge earlier tonight (or at least in not such a stressed-out state), so I'm rounding up DW RP replies and then hitting the sheets. Night all!

Alan Davies starred (stars? occasionally they'll make a new episode if the planets align right...) in my other favorite British show, Jonathan Creek. He plays the titular character who is an ideas man to a magician and gets roped up into solving "impossible" crimes (usually murder) because of his ability for logical deduction and his knowledge of illusions.

Oh, and I got a Harvest Dragon without realizing it until I went to hatch it, lol. It came with the name Sierra and I haven't bothered changing it. Hopefully when Bring 'Em Back comes around again I can finish off who I'm missing.

Yeah, I think my parents used to watch that -- they're big into crime shows, especially British ones. And JC's been mentioned a couple of times on QI. Alan's a funny guy, I gotta say. :P

LOL -- I got one too! I named my Pilgrim, natch. No Feast, but BEB's on its way, so I'm not stressing.
