Bad Bad Thursday

crossover_chick-->Woke up earlier than I wanted to (not much earlier, but before my alarm) and once again had a "sweat-to-death" night (I am planning for this tonight and changing my PJs for a nightgown)
-->Wifi router inexplicably refused to play nice with my iPad this morning -- Dad unplugged and replugged it, which got it to work, but it was frustrating as all get out
-->Miserable rainy weather all day
-->Had to race to get that data I was working on yesterday out this morning (damn time limits)
-->Had to explain in excruciating detail how the whole data collection/cleaning process worked with us to a woman who would not get it (fortunately excruciating detail worked)
-->Got out an hour early from work -- only for the bus to be half-an-hour late for no clearly defined reason (apparently it was at Kennedy Plaza, but beyond that I don't know), which, when combined with traffic, meant I got home the same time I always do
So yeah, I'm basically a ball of frustration and "grrrr" tonight. Only two things I can boast of going right:
-->QI was funny as HELL tonight, I needed that
-->Chapter 25 is up, meaning the Blu-Ray edition of "Forgetting You" is done! Read it on FF.net, on AO3, or on my website. Feels good to have that all settled, at least!
All right -- DW replies slapped up, then bed. Night all!

This happens right after Dr. Wilson shows up to take over the Home -- with Victoria coming for a visit right at the same time -- so emotions are already running high. Realizing that Victor got back her rabbit while she was gone. . .well, it just pushes poor Alice over the edge.

Date: 2015-12-20 03:51 am (UTC)Yeah, they're together -- this story actually starts them sleeping in the same bed because it helps keep the nightmares (for both of them) at bay. And yes, in my universe he is. Still a Victorian-era psychiatrist, but you can be assured he IS trying to help.
