Well, Talk About A Monday

-->Was a little late getting out the door, and then on the way to work, what does it start doing? SNOWING! No warning whatsoever! Fortunately it wasn't a bad snow -- though it looked like it might be for a bit -- but between that and it being really freaking cold, I was not happy.

-->Massive return of mail for the CAP project put me, my supervisor, and the CAP manager all on edge for a bit. I kept wondering if somehow I'd screwed up something in sending things to the people who do our mailings. . .fortunately we think it's only from one very specific part of the mailing, and that most people ARE receiving the letters we're sending out. Still, I have a few ideas about how to streamline this process a bit in the future -- we're having a meeting on it on Thursday.

-->Also, one of my semi-daily duties was massively delayed because of multiple questions regarding credit card transactions. Very annoying on top of the other thing.

-->Oh, did I mention I forgot to buy my bus pass for January? Completely slipped my mind. Fortunately I'm only out four dollars extra over the price, and Mom was kind enough to pick up the new one for me, but still. You'd think I would have remembered!

-->DragonVale almost didn't let me in today! I don't know why, but when I got home, it kept crashing right after the loading screen. Made me pretty pissy, what with there being an extra day to the iceberry collecting -- and thus an extra day for grabbing the Flicker dragon I needed! Got in and got it in the end -- plus the Neoteric dragon, if breeding times are any indication. And some decorations, since I had iceberries left over. Hooray, I have succeeded in my quest, and now I can put this event behind me. (Though I'm still hoping to snag an Omen.)

-->One good thing: Got another chunk done on "Remembering You." Very glad an annoying day did not stifle my creativity.

All right, almost done answering everyone -- let me just take care of this one last tag, then hit the sack. (After warming it up a bit first, I think. . .man, those flannels really did come just in time. . .)

Neoteric came with my Air's name Slythe. I haven't figured out what I'm gonna name it yet. I may look through the list of pregen names on the Wiki later and pick something.

Bring Em Back is gonna last another week, so here's hoping. If I could JUST get that Sanguinite I'd use my wish for the Comet and be done with it all. :/

Mine's still in the egg -- not sure what I'll name it yet. Or where I'll stick it. . .ah, the age-old question of room.

Okay, so it goes away with the prize market, gotcha. Still got some time to try and knock out that Omen! I'm also giving the Pyrite a try, and after that I guess I'm dependent on someone sticking an Eridanian in the co-op cave. Inching my way toward that magic moment of fire breath. . .

Oh yeah, forgot to ask: Did you find a purple present in your park today? I did, and it gave me a gem. ??

I've seen that purple present. I can't remember if it was then; it might've been one of the random ones I've gotten during the Event. *shrug*

Yeah, it was part of the Event -- gave you a gem and 50 iceberries. But it also popped up yesterday and today, still giving out the gem. There's no other presents, and the visitor button doesn't hint at it. It's just there. (Not that I'm COMPLAINING about free gems. . .)

Ohh, derp. No I didn't notice. Unless I have a reason to (and the guys with the flags don't count) I tend to not zoom in much, so once the Event ended I stopped.

By the by did I mention the Regift? It's pregen name was Cookie, lol.

Ahh -- yeah, I find it worth it to clear my green lady (since so far I only have an Elder Plant), so I have one relatively quick zoom-in per day to find her, and I just happened to notice it. Maybe it's an extra bonus until the event proper-ends.

LOL, I don't think you did. I named mine Krampus to go with Kringle (and because of all the Christmas horror hanging about XD).
