In DragonVale, that is -- thanks to co-op breeding, I will shortly have an Omen dragon! And with all the Ornamentals collected and other special dragons bred, that leaves just two remaining for me to catch up to the current count: the Pyrite and the Eridanian. The Pyrite's the latest Crystalline, and I'm actively working on it right now. The Eridanian, however, is a Galaxy, which means I have to wait for the one friend whom I know has one to put it up in their cave. Hopefully they'll do so soon -- I'd really love to be able to max out the Dragonarium!

Quiet day at work today, thankfully -- I finished off another school important and updated addresses for another already in our system. We also got those damn letters out of the office and down to the shredder. We have everyone who was in that mess in electronic format (everyone who failed the NCOA), so we didn't need the physical copies. Sending them down to the paper grave felt like finally breaking free of that whole mess. I for one intend to be better prepared for the next damn mailing. We really can't afford another clusterfuck like this.

Not much else to say, beyond me changing my iPad lock and home screens to Valice stuff (some of the fusion AU art Nebbychan's been making, in fact). Now all my electronics are Valice! (My computer desktop is another favorite piece of fanart, and my flip phone's screen shows a picture of Victor Plush and Alice Dolly.) Also your BTTF fact of the day: Lea Thompson's Enchantment Under The Sea Dance dress was apparently so uncomfortable to wear that she preferred to lounge around between takes in her corset bra and crinoline rather than wear it. She also still has the damn thing, sealed away safely in a garment bag.

And now, I'm in the middle of some taggy stuff, so later!

Huh... it really doesn't look like that dress would be that uncomfortable. (I ended up looking it up, and saving a couple pictures in my 'possible eventual doll clothes folder'.

Good luck with the dragons, and I will get back to RP eventually I swear... as soon as my brain is not jammed in some kind of 'plz-not-another-thing' overload. XD

Yeah, unless she's got some real chubby kids that does not sound like a good thing in a dress. Interestingly, I might already have a real-person-sized sewing pattern for a similar one. Ages and ages ago when I was a kid there was this one store we went to sometimes (Ben Franklin's). Only two things I remember... One, that it's their fault I still put a single piece of dill pickle on my grilled cheese sandwiches, compliments of their fresh food deli. And, two, when they closed down everything went on severe clearance and I wiped out their sewing patterns as much as was fiscally possible at the time. Later on, mold got into my sewing pattern stash while it was stored in the back room, after a scruffy white tomcat snuck back there and peed on them... but I still have about milk crate full that were salvageable... Most date from the 50's to 70's... apparently the store had problems clearing out old inventory (as I think the closing would have been in th 90's). And I KNOW there used to be one 50's style prom dress in the mess... if it still exists.

Yeah. And I think I'm PMS-y too, so now all the rest (dissolving the rest of the Toilet Clog From Hell and finding out if the bank needs to call the police because someone's attempting fraud and/or identity theft) is on a race against Aunt Flo's impending arrival (I'd say I have a week at best, so I still might make it. Or I could start any time, with my luck)

When things get like this, my headspace is full of tumbleweeds and chirping crickets...

And a note, saying "Except the toilet", in reference to 'hoping things can only go up'. *snerk* I guess even in times like this, the clowns can't resist a good set-up line. Tho I don't know if it was Duela, Jack, or Jeannie responsible.

I looked through them and found one adult dress pattern that wasn't quite the one I thought, and one for a kid... At least half the surviving ones are kid clothes.

As for the dill on grilled cheese... one or two slices (depending on size), placed on the outside top of the sandwich, right in the middle. It really is good. Often picked off and eaten about halfway through, in my case, and leaving behind a slightly dill flavor to the bread.

And I need to do a major schedule flip to go to the bank, so I may actually have to get on a wikiwalk of some kind soon so that I'll lose track of time and stay up as long as possible. (Trying to go to bed early will just mean tossing and turning and no end effect, I've tried it). Probably going to try to be constructive and move some files - either old logs to timeline or chara info to database. I'm almost through the Zelda stuff!

I'm just lucky I make soap from scratch, and thus had several containers of lye available...

Heh, missed this one...

And, no... no room for either. XD I think I'll just stick to scaling the patterns down to 1/6 doll size. XD

And the place that got me hooked on grilled cheese with pickle just used good zized hamburger dill slices, but I've even used a chunk of spear (which my homemade cold process ones I have now are)
