The Fun Never Ends With CAP

crossover_chickAttended one of the workshops today to explain the whole "data collecting and processing" portion of the business, and ended up with yet more work to do thanks to people needing data we haven't been paying much attention to (namely, class years). I swear, this project is the beast that cannot be fed. And to think I thought I was leaving it behind when I was hired by the diocese directly. . . Well, just gotta buck up and get it done. Suppose I definitely have enough to make the day go by now.
Cold as FUCK today, as promised -- I didn't have to be out in it long, happily, but the bus ride home was annoyingly chilly. Forewent ice cream tonight in favor of hot chocolate (PROPER hot chocolate, mind -- or at least semi-proper; mix with milk instead of water). While today was the coldest of them all, it's supposed to remain chilly all this week -- aaaand there's possible Big Snow Event this weekend, depending on where a storm goes and how it fares across the nation. *siiiigh* And here I thought we might get away with not having a snowpocalypse this year. . .
I also have a new albatross around my neck in DragonVale -- the Pyrite, which I didn't manage to get before Bring Em Back officially ended. My breeding pair would not stop making Olympiads. Meh -- I suppose there might still be a slim chance of out-of-season co-op breeding, but I guess the main thing to do is try to fill up every other slot so I can focus my energies next December.
At least "Remembering You" is going decently well -- working my way through Victoria's reintroduction. Also, I have more "other people do Valice" fanwork to share:

-->LilyEnRenn starts a Victor/Alice "vaguely based on Anastasia AU! Which has already surprised me with its beginning. . . I'm hoping she continues, I'm quite curious to see where it goes.
Okay, time to finish up DW tags (since I do have some this time around), then get to bed. At least, despite it feeling like a Monday, I know it's a Tuesday. Ah, gotta love short work weeks. G'night!
