Back To Busy Thursday

crossover_chickAnd how -- lots of people calling in with questions and problems, all sorts of little errors on the imports I was doing, e-mails to answer, other things to check up on. . .it was basically a back and forth of "this person needs this thing" "well that person needs that thing" "I have to finish this other thing first!" *groans* Proof we definitely need the whole band in the office to work efficiently. Didn't help that the phone screwed up on me for some reason right before the end of the day. . .at least I got a chicken pesto sandwich, a fruit cup, and a big chocolate chip cookie out of it. Plus a bag of chips, though I saved those to go with tomorrow's lunch. TGIF tomorrow, is all I can say. . .even if we are getting snow. . .
No new work on "Remembering You," but there is some old work: behold the wonders of Chapter 2! Featuring relapsing Victor, almost aggressively encouraging June, snooping reporters, and some bittersweet Valice fuzzies. I think it came out well -- tell me if I'm right or wrong!
Also, had enough free time tonight to squeeze in watching the latest NC editorial, about classic slapstick Goofy -- which is a rare case of me actually sharing in the nostalgia, as I recall seeing a few of those cartoons! Goofy's attempts at exercising are a prime example, though I'm also pretty sure I've seen the "Goofy's addicted to cigarettes" one, which proooobably wouldn't fly today. :P Still, fun times -- always nice to see the NC mention something I remember.
Okay, tumblr queues are taken care of -- just a couple other things to answer, then it's to bed with me. Just gotta get through tomorrow, then it's the weekend. . .and next week's supposed to have a major warm-up so -- yeah, hopefully that will stay a thing. *nods* Night!

Date: 2016-03-05 03:41 am (UTC)I wanted to suggest that there was an element of theme naming there -- their mother thought it would be cute to name a few of her daughters after the months they were born in (I'm thinking maybe June 27th or something for June). And yeah, that felt very Alice to me.
I know -- I'm rough on him in this story. :(
